I don't think I've seen anything in these notes that i have genuinely disliked or hated. Seems pretty great overall. i'd still make some tweaks to sets and things personally, but still, seems really nice.

The only thing that I think is wrong, is something i didn't see, which honestly is a breath of fresh air. Back to the point i'm trying to make, we need legitimate warden damage skill changes. I know this was all about "small" changes, but i still feel like improving dive's speed and/or proc conditions was something that would have really made a difference. changes like that are still pretty small and while i'm happy for other classes getting changed. i feel like warden was just sort of looked over again. Relying on weapon abilities all the time just really sucks for the identity of the class. As additionally, all of the class's damage skills are used in some form by stamina wardens too. and since stamsorc got some more changes (which sound genuinely awesome), I really feel like warden needs some love to it's class damage skills. I really hope that we receive some helpful warden damage skill changes in the coming incremental patches.

Some changes were necessary and nice I can agree to that. But some...? Stranglers change was bound to happen, but utterly killing it's viability besides vMA seems unnecessary. Also I guess they were sick of hearing how Olorime was better than SPC for ages and wanted to make a change, but no way a trial set should be less viable than a dungeon set in this case. I can almost guarantee there will be some backlash to these changes which will limit what makes it through the PTS (at least I hope so).

So hopefully everyone tests the changes and gives strong feedback for the next couple of weeks regarding these changes.

Umm those 2 warden changes are lost in a sea of excessive pve nerfs.
All I see for pve is the nerf of everything we currently run.
I'm just getting frustrated at this point.

I don't know, they seemed alright, yeah a few things I use are a bit less useful, but a lot of other sets I use got buffs. I'll take it. Given most everything I've been using has been overlooked, or nerfed in trade for a few sets used in posted builds.

Patch looks kinda good but the buffs to proc sets are very concerning, it's not like they would underperform right now.
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

As a trial healer, I'd still go with Olorime than SPC. Olorime still function the same way as it is on live, except it will get all 8 dps the Major Courage buff in 2 seconds, instead of 1 (which make 0 difference in term of dps) and it gives me 5% damage resistance from mobs and boss.

Both do not have a cap (anymore). Olo can buff 6 per second (for 10 seconds) but doesn't have a cap and the one for SPC was removed.

I guess people just got used to whining nowadays and screaming about nerfs. here are few nerf this time around, but all of them had it coming for a long time. Lots of things were buffed instead and finally there might be some diversity. And holy aedras, spam skill for stamsorc! How long have been we waiting?

My post is not whining. certainly not compared to most other posts of similar make. if that was the intention of your comment.

No, sorry if my words were missleading. Quite contrary - I share your position about patch notes but plenty of people even in this thread are mostly negative.

It feels a bit like morrowind all over again. I refuse to wear proc sets again on my Dk. If I play an MMO I want to use abilities, I don't want my armor to do the fighting for me.

The vampire changes are laughable and not the ones we want. Where's the gap closer? Changes to blood frenzy? Vampiric drain? Perfect scion? No, instead we just get nerfs to eviscerate. Genuinely not sure why someone would want to run a melee ranged magicka dps now.

I like the sets losing % to proc.

Now that so many sets look fun to use in all content, I'm going to have to research a whole new gear combo after this update.

I am overall in favour of removing Proc % in favor of proc conditions.

I am a weirdo using Suns and BSW one got buffed and the other nerfed and I have no idea how that will change my dps until I test.

A lot of healing sets getting changes I am glad I just collected and stored them all.

the only thing that irritates me a bit are the changes to templar, I really didnt get the impression stamplar was over performing

besides that some stuff I was hoping for I didnt see, some changes to other classes and skills like warden, was hoping for a different sorc spammable and a stam whip for dk but overall quite good

Stam whip and and stam sorc getting a proper spammable, maybe make wardens Animal tree make the bear do more.

I am very open about things I dislike, but this patch (regarding balance changes), is not among those things.

Definately felt let down by the Warden section.
Was as well hoping for a speedbuff to cliffracers and an increase to the armor melt duration of scorch.

    1. Many of the proc set changes are grossly OP in PvP ... as in GROSSLY OP, both offensively and defensively, also utterly trivialize certain PvE aspects of the game... to the extent that it's plain they don't play their own game or have any sense of even intermediate history of it either.
    2. But so glad Barkskin, Sanctuary and Heartland got the nerfs those heavily overused and abused sets so richly deserved!

Oh well, back to spending money elsewhere in gaming land.

I would love to be impressed...for once. But I've been parsing against these changes since the PTS came online and all I'm seeing is more loss due to another round of nerfs. Just another round of predictable disappointment. Hardly worth caring about anymore.

they are good for pve, but iam not really impressed for pvp, yet again ZOS has missed the point and still does not understand how pvp is played, never one on one more like 5-50 on one. peeps are on about nerfs but if you take as one it has given a huge damage output across the game
