So now that thrassian is Stam too I think it should be medium armor. Stam(even though it's super dead) relies on 7/7 medium for pve, mag on the other had benefits more from the 5/1/1 so it would be better for both to be medium weight.

    No. I need all the mag recovery I can get. Cannot say the same for my stam chars regarding stam recovery.

    No cooldown is on it. The staks aren't permanent anymore. Is that what you mean?

    Making it medium would be great. Since in order to run it on a mag toon and not run a crafted 5 piece, you have to run 6/1 instead of 5/1/1.

    They should increase stack timer to one minute or change how you can get stacks (maybe not on kill but if enemy you hit recently dies). This change will kill this set. It needed nerf but why killing it?

    I agree. The combination of having to get the killing blow plus the timed cool down to stacks seems to ruin this set. I thought that Thrassian was too good but this nerf swings too far into nullifying what is supposed to be a mythic item.

    I think they should change it to reduce max number of stacks to 10, no timer on stack, increase wd and sp by 90 per stack and penalities on 1/2%

    If they didn't add that the stacks could only be gained by killing an enemy every 30 seconds I would accept the nerf as it is, but now you will never see their use asides from vMA, some dungeons and overland stuff.

    I just don't get how you can kill a set you just released and is a MYTHIC.

    This set had too many debuffs even before.

    They reduced spell damage gain per stack and reduced debuff per stack, which is fine.

    But even before there was problem to fill all stacks to maximum - because it only works on finishing hit. Now when stacks expire there is no reason why should anyone use it. Delete it would be better.

    The stacks only lasting 30 seconds makes it completely useless to me and my trial group, no point now. Would prefer if they increased the drawback and kept the stacks permanent.
    So many unneeded nerfs to sets this patch like completely killing vamp after spending all that time making it useful...

    Because they got the immediate sales boost they wanted?

    Or maybe they decided it was overused and overpowered. Sloads got the same treatment with Summerset and that was a crafted set.

    Personally I'd vote for the latter. I think they imagined that the increase in damage taken would be much more prohibitive than how it ended up.

    Agreed, making it medium would be a good change. It also needs to lose the killing blow requirement if the stacks are going to be temporary. This new 30s limit could make for a fun mini game in the right circumstances, but the killing blow requirement is far too limiting and based on RNG. The reduction in spell/weapon damage and reduction in damage taken are good changes too IMO.

    The 30 second duration kills this item for me...

    Basically if I don't kill something within 30 seconds I lose my stacks?

    - Not useful for bossfights without a lot of adds
    - Not useful for dungeons where a lot of walking is involved between fights
    - I think we can forget about it outside of normal trials now too
    - Not useful for overland PvE unless farming a public dungeon

    I am totally ok with the damage reduction, because it was a little off the hook, but having a 30 second duration on that makes it too niche, and most will probably not bother with it.

    Agree with many other posters here. The 30 seconds limit COMBINED with the need to get KILLING BLOW on a target absolutely made this set worthless in a vast majority of content. Was it overpowered before? Absolutely. Do you have to nerf it to useless though?? NO! The spell damage could sit at 2k max, damage increase to self to 50% and boom done. The other junk you're trying to add to it seems like the idea of someone who needs sleep, much much sleep.

    This was a REALLY fun item to run in vet trials because of the amount of situational awareness it promoted but now? Its useless and will probably be banked in its proposed state.

    Edit: I didn't think this was OP at all. It had high risk vs. reward. If you died and lost your stacks mid-boss fight, your dps would be garbage.

    Having to land killing blow and this 30 second timer does indeed kill the mythic item. And from the looks of these posts, it's unanimous.

    Thrassian Stranglers:
    Reduced the Spell Damage granted per stack to 92, down from 150.
    Reduced the penalties per stack to 1%, down from 2%.
    The stacks from this set now last 30 seconds and refresh every time you gain a stack, rather than being permanent.
    This set now also grants Weapon Damage.
    All you haters got your wish! This set is now dead. Won't be wasting my time with Mystic items any more.

    Set is totally rip with a 30 second timer. Has been a nice idea with making the wearing person much more vulnerbale while granting spell dmg/weapon dmg. Might be recently overpowered, but if you think about raids aso. you cant play the set anymore.

    Thanks for destroying a new opportunity to play the game, if you have a good movement, because of saving stacks
