Do you feel rewarded as a PvP player?

I do not. AP is almost worthless and hard to earn when you fight good players. And lets face it, Pvping is expensive.

Meanwhile in Pve its super easy to make fortunes, i think either AP should increase in value, or we should get better reward boxes. What do u think, any suggestions?

Oh and dont get me started on the rewards for ranking/achievements compared to pve.., this needs some rework aswell imo🤦‍♂️

What exactly do you mean by "better" rewards? You mention that it's easy to make a fortune in pve... If it's gold value vs ap value what is the scale you are using for comparison? Another factor is the target audience for selling what you can farm with ap vs. Dungeons/overland/etc. (I.e. there are far more pve players than pvp and so more of a market for what pve is selling). Also how do we increase ap value other than expanding what it can be used to purchase in game? I'm all for better rewards, i am just genuinely curious as to what constitutes better?

But that's just me. Yeah I'm inclined to agree with you.

PvP rewards really do need to be rather more substantial.

I'm going to get hated on by a few people here but why not have a house that can only be purchased for AP? Perhaps a military encampment available for each Alliance? And to make it extra fun... Only characters of the respective Alliance can enter.

And then after years, AP can still only buy two motifs.

I'm quite surprised that the Imperial Motif is not available for AP. You know, considering the location...

I made millions of gold during the event what are going on about. AP is not worthless if you know how to spend it correctly. To answer the question yes I do but I’d like to see two piece arena weapons tailored for PvP earned thru PvP. This game has so many five pieces they keep adding more each patch vDSA weapons dropped in Cyrodiil rewards once upon a time I recall.

The best reward they could give me would be a playable Cyrodiil. One where skills could be used reliably, one that doesn't have you running off a porch after a group of enemies only to end up on the porch again 10 seconds later like nothing ever happened and one that could handle more than 20 people at a time without crapping out.

Well, there is Motif farming from trials and vDungeons (DLCs) thos estuff sell for a lot.

Granted we have motifs for AP also, we have Akaviri and Ordinator, i think chest piece is like 25k gold or so, but costs 500k AP, thats like 2 days of PVP on a good night.

I would like to see Skins maybe a skin with lots of scarring or something, not all that flashy stuff, Costumes etc for ranking up alliance ranks, maybe something grand and unique for hitting Grand Overlord, a house maybe? it is after all the most painful grind in the game.

Yeah u can make lots of gold at the events only, unless u have godlike RNG.

Anyhow, wouldnt u like to see some better rewards for alliance ranks? Like houses, or alliance related costumes, mounts maybe?

for everything we need from new armor sets with Golding them out including Golding out new Jewelry, and potions and character changes and all sorts of expenses, we need and should be getting around 150,000 to 250,000 Gold in Rewards a month.
this would be fair if we pvp for several hours daily, and right now we get Nothing Near that.
so we are forced to spend hours farming when we shouldn't have to.
this Gold we need should be coming from rewards of the worthy! and it's not.
the rewards of the worthy should be able to match the expenses we incur.

The sets for rewards of the worthy are usually worthless. Id say increase the gold and/or give us more things to buy with ap. Better potions or alchemy ingredients to purchase to make my own would be great.

Rewards of the Worthy definitely need to be changed up. They're for the worthy, but pretty damn worthless. xD
Also like the idea of more motifs or mounts. Arena Gladiator proof purchases are kind of nice, but they really limit your 'income' because you can only earn one a day and it takes a lot to be able to buy things to sell.

The idea that you don’t get enough PvP rewards seems ridiculous to anyone currently drowning in rewards for the worthy after MYM. There’s not a lot more ZOS could be throwing at you.

Totally agree that there should be more PvP focused things to buy with AP though.

And it would be outstanding to have some kind of military base type house for each alliance.

I understand, although tecnically Tel var farming is pve, and its very hard to make good telvar in there since, well since they disconnected it from cyrodiil.

But lets take motifs for example, 500k AP for Akaviri chest, sells for 25k gold If your lucky. Meanwhile, u can do the hardest dlc or trial in the game 30 mins - 1 hour easy 100k+ motifs.

I think spell power pots are the most consistent gold conversion for ap right now, you can gamble with a few set bags and potentionally get better results, but it's fairly unlikely.
I think they could add motif pages to the Golden especially dungeon ones.
I'm kinda hoping they will update some of the less used pvp sets, like I don't know anyone that uses soldier of anguish right now for example.

PC EU and yes, I sell the slightly just undet crafted ones, don't forget they are now the same value as crafted pots, but you don't need corn flower for it.

I've sold about 1mil golds worth since the event ended.

A military style outpost house for ap would be cool. As well as some furnishings like archery targets, the strawman target dummies, large tents, siege weapons and alliance flags (like the ones at keeps that could be flipped if a friend or visitor from another alliance stands next to it for too long, lol) all could be purchased for ap. They already have in game assets for these so it wouldn't even take that much work from the dev team. And if they are adding npcs for homes you could get recruits (maybe as pvp leveling/achievement rewards) to wander around and train using this stuff.
Adding motifs would be kind of cool as well.

Well, we have new motif for Arena Gladiator's Proofs and this is something new and valuable. We can't forget that too good rewards will be attract PvE gold grinders and we don't want it. It's healthier if gold grind is better on PvE content.

On the other hand, some new rewards like alliance cosmetics would be nice for any alliance nerds :D It should something more interesting for PvP players than something great for everyone.

I'm pretty much at the point of the game where I've got more than enough gold, AP is only used for buying siege and leveling up so so slowly to Legate II, and using transmutation geodes for rare gear changes.

That means the PVP rewards that are more important to me are the good times I have playing with friends in my PVP guild.
  • Major_Lag

There should be more rewards in PvP which are only useful for PvP.
Especially the RotW boxes could use a rework, >95% of the sets in them are only useful for deconstruction, and many of those sets are just hilariously bad (Soldier of Anguish, anyone?).

It would be also nice if there was a random alchemy ingredient in those boxes, that alone would go a long way towards offsetting the significant expenses of potion/poison use in PvP.

Failing that, those trash sets from RotW boxes could at least be buffed or otherwise reworked to be in line with whatever the current "standards" for sets are, to hopefully give them some actual uses beyond their value as scrap metal.

As others have suggested, I'd also love to see more options for Alliance-themed housing and furnishings, ideally purchasable only with AP.

How do you think PvE players survive? Hi-end PvE players sell carry runs. The rest don't see the grind below themselves.
Everyone works their butt off to make gold. Are you somehow better than them?
