I wish one of the blood scion transformations would look like one of the blood knights, that would actually be cool...one more tanky and one more spellcastery

Seeing that makes me sad. Even if they didn't give us a true vampire lord transformation they could have made it look cool in its own way.

To my knowledge, Bloodknights/Blood Scions didn't exist before greymoor.

They didn't have to make us a blood scion. We could of easily became vampire lords.

Quite frankly, I've fought more vampire lords this expansion than blood knights!

I wish we could at least get the vampire lord appearance as a reward. Could be purely cosmetic.

Make it a vet dungeon reward or something.

So? What I'm saying is we didn't have to become Blood Scions. And judging by the fact they have a female and male model of the vamp lord, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that we probably were going to be able to be them at some point in dev.

Vamp lord does look amazing. But at least scion resembles them for the most part.

    Meanwhile werewolf and behemoth...
Wish both got something like npcs.

Werewolves already resemble actual werewolves, though.

They don't look like behemoths, but they do very much look like Alpha Werewolves/packleaders and normal werewolf NPCs.

Though I can agree that if blood scions get a vamp lord cosmetic option then werewolves should get a behemoth one. Honestly both deserve to look like their NPC variants.

I think the main issue with the Blood Scion is that it looks too much like a Vampire Lord and yet it looks inferior due to being smaller and having no wings, no sane person can look at the Blood Scion and think this is "better" then a Vampire Lord which ultimately makes Lamae Bal look like a complete moron.

I believe it would better received if it looked more humanoid and less Vampire Lord-like, then at least her idea of perfection could make sense, what I would do is get rid of the form entirely and then remake it using Mephala's appearance as a base, make it keep your current appearance from the waist up but the bottom half of you would be more bestial and you were would have large bat-wings sprout from your back, this way the form would have no comparison with the Vampire Lord form and because of this it having wings would not diminish the Vampire Lord form in anyway, it would also not make the players feel like they are inferior if their form is completely different.

For reference think something like Satan from Lords of Shadow 2.

Meant that scion should've looked more like a lord. While werewolf gets some kind of behemoth resembling morph or something.

This would still miss the mark. We asked specifically for a vampire LORD and ZOS refuse out of stubbornness to give us what we asked for.
Instead they excuse Blood Scion with an arbitrary "lore" reason. Yet, vampire lords are being thrown at us by the dozens in harrowstorms. And a regular dude is transformed into a vampire lord in the story, because reasons.
We don't want and need an altered Blood Scion. Just give us what we wanted. And if ZOS' writers can't come up with a lore explanation, I'll happily do it for them. Will probably take me five minutes at best and be 100% free of Altmer stamina efficiency and stuff like that.

Who is this "we" you speak of because I sure as hell did not ask for it, maybe a solution would be to remove the Vampire Lord from the Harrowstorm, a generic Vampire lord does not make any sense at all, they are not common enough to have generic unnamed spawns and I still stand by what Lord Harkon states in dialogue, a Vampire Lord is to other Vampires what a King is to their Subjects, I mean it could be a case that this is the exact same Vampire Lord that keeps being revived everytime you kill him but then they should at least give him a name.

Perhaps a they should just teplace it with a Lich or perhaps a colossal Gargoyle that resembles a Vampire Lord, what would be wrong with an oversized Gargoyle?

"We" are the ones who asked for a vampire transformation. So apparently, not you. I can tell you this with certainty: 0% of those people asked for a temporary Molag Bal polymorph with a simple stat boost attached to it.

As for removing the lords from storms, it's too late and this certain mundane person is still easily converted with mere magic. By an inferior vampire compared to Lamae. This won't get changed and it creates the conundrum why we, the VESTIGE, get weaker powers from THE MOST POWERFUL VAMPIRE.

You know what they could add to the Blood Scion to make it look more unique and less like Molag Bol? Hair!

I mean seriously if they just added hair it'd look less demonic and I might even excuse the lack of wings.

Edit: Be even neater if it inherited the hair color and/or style of your character.

Apparently the power of a Vampire Lord resides in its hair, as a semblance to Molag Bal's famously lucious locks, so the inferior Blood Scion has to remain bald.
Or was that the wings? I get confused.

Side not, does anyone even use the Perfect Scion ultimate? It seems so laughably inferior. I thought it would be neat if they reduced this morph's cost drastically so you could have a higher transformation uptime with this version, so it becomes closer to Werewolves for those who were looking for that kind of playstyle with vampires.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?

Only time I found a use for Perfect Scion was so I could walk around the vampire castle without this massive cloud of bats following me. It is honestly the weakest morph of the two and doesn't really help all that much. Swarming Scion's AOE damage that heals you ends up outclassing whatever health regeneration you get back from Perfect Scion. I'd be neat if they gave it the Clouding Swarm treatment and attacked a cool spammable to it that cost nothing and maybe even had you teleport to the target. That'd solve the gap closer problem, make that morph useful, and it'd cooler than just a stat boost.

I can agree with this a lot! Not to mention that transformation would be totally unique. I think the fact they went for some weird inferior middle ground instead of going "full vampire lord" or "full completely unique" is what has people upset tbh. People would of been fine if they made a full on vamp lord. People also would of been fine if the transformation was something completely new and unique.

Kind of ironic they hyped vamp lords up as being mystical. Yet I've fought dozens of them and we even see a normal dude transformed into one in the main story. Now in the next dlc we get to fight another one in a dungeon. A female too! Why can't we become a vamp lord again?

i hate to break it to you, but vamp lords aren't as mystical as you think now. I've legit fought and seen DOZENS of them this expansion. It's kinda nuts. I've seen more of them than I saw dragons in Elsweyr!

Agreed with what you said, but werewolves are even worse off. They don't even get any kind of ascended form...
That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.
    Werewolf behemoth=vampire lord>blood scion>werewolf>vampire.

especially if you consider the dev's reasoning for doing such is quite wack. If it's "too rare and mystical" for us to become vamp lords, why on earth are we The Vestige? Why are we able to join the psyjic order? (Possibly an order more rare than dragons OR vamp lords)

The werewolf form is their transformation. I take it you want a behemoth skin and I can get behind that.

Yup. There's simply no logical lore reason. We COULD be vampire lords. But ZOS simply chose not to let us. Didn't even allow us wings.

True, but that's an average werewolf. Blood scion is above your average vampire isn't it? That's what I'm getting at.
