Ive used torc extensively for 1vX in the sewers against 10-15+ on my stamsorc
Pros:
Almost always have the stam regen
get the mag regen in dire situations, good for Ball of lighting(escape methods like cloak)
Can be self activated and played around
Cons:
Really needs high stat pools to make managing the buffs easier without making pools stay dangerously low(sugar skulls, all triglyphs, infused on head/chest/legs, 5/1/1)
Hard to make use of the mag bonus on stam toons due to low ability cost
Might force hard choices weightwise when selecting 5 piece sets to run
Buildwise it is a direct replacement to Engine guardian 2 piece without the randomness, but without the OP random heal.
Where to use it and test
Mag builds would most definately make torc work wonders since mag abilities cost alot it is actually beneficial to be able to YoYo your stat pools.
This makes me say that if someone wanted to seriously make a vampire build, torc would be the way to do it. With the Vamp increased cost, the Torc would allow you to YoYo your pools easier. Say you run low on stam completely. Use a high mag cost ability and then go into mist. Mist lets you sit at 49% mag and regen stam to full in roughly half the time it would normally take. Sounds silly that I am trying to say that increased ability cost is a good thing, but when I used torc i found myself wasting my mag pool or stam pool down by spamming a high cost ability on purpose multiple times. For instance I would pop Ball of Lighting or Crit surge to drop my mag pool for stam sustain, Or I would pop Camo hunter a few times to get the mag regen.
Two questions about this item, because I didn't bothered to get it yet.
1. When you have both pools above 50% it doesnt give anything?
2. When you have both pools below 50% it buffs both of them?
1. YES
2. YES , if you don't block
Thanks for reply friend
Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.
"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter.
