Okay so:
I tried just copying over the files into a newly created steam library on the SSD, but when I try to open ESO, it sticks with the old path and I can't change it.
I can't change the path in Properties on Steam either because the move files just isn't an option there.
Anyone know how to get this fixed?

If not, there’s an article in Online Support on how to accomplish linking.
One bit of caution: A lot of players have complained about various Steam issues in the past.

I gave up an just reinstalled it after waiting another 9 hours for it to download. idk why having the game on steam is such a burden now, with people not being able to log in for days etc.0
