Harrowstorm Spawn Timer

How long is this freaking timer?

Still hasn't spawned and I'd already waited for a quite a bit before posting

Each zone (top and bottom) are independent. In each of those zones, one harrowstorm will be active. When that storm goes down, 4 minutes later, one will randomly spawn in a different spot in that zone. There is no set rotation or order other than you will not get the same spot twice in a row.

The timer is not the issue

the code that is bugged is (and the fact that there are no checks in that code to test if it is bugged and take some action to resolve the issue)

Dwarf's Bane on PC-EU has been 'starting' for the last 4 days and as it does not progess all the other sites arte blocked out due to the "1 up at a time'" code!!!

Actually iirc ZOS said they are intended to be completely random and it's entirely possible you'll get one several times in a row and others not at all for hours. They did also say they're looking into this, as (for some weird reason) people don't seem to like this system.

I know I waited at one for about half an hour and yesterday I went to another one that came up a lot before only to have the same thing happening. I don't care they are random but when people are so kind to announce them in chat by the time I am there it is over. Why not do something like with the dragons but instead just have a little tornado going over the map?

Agreed. Working on the kindness of others is not good enough. I shout in chat for its location and get no replies, quite often. It's infuriating

Random is fine but at least let there be a marker on the map showing which are active like dragons.

Sometimes new storms just don't spawn at other locations at all ("timer" may appear to be broken), because there is a broken storm at one of the western skyrim coast locations - refer to this bug report thread: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/533795/harrowstorms-are-bugged.

Miners bugs so often on PS4 that each time I go down to Blackreach pretty much people are asking if Miners is glitched or not.
