I suspect that one reason why you're supposed to get there by portal rather than by wayshrine is to help prevent players from gaining access to those two zones before they've completed the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild questlines. I'm not sure, but I don't think you can TP to another player if they're in Eyevea or the Earth Forge-- at least, it didn't work the last time I tried to let someone TP to me while I was crafting them some set gear in those zones.
@kennethkatal - the easiest wayshrine/MG portal combo to use is Vulkwasten in Malabal Tor. The wayshrine is just down a set of steps from Vulkwasten - which is an "open air" town mostly, and the MG is also open air, at the top of those steps and to the right. The portal is right there, no loading screen into a building.
I would like this too, but my guess is zos rationale probably has to do with ability of players to port to other players via nearest wayshrine. They don’t want that for these areas.

Well.... for Eyevea, that would really be kind of an opportunity to land some smack on those who ported to a friend or guildie: haven't done the quest line, but port to friend anyway? MILLIONS of daedra on top of you.
Pretty funny, I think.
Oh, btw.... you can't even port yourself to the wayshrine from anywhere else on Eyevea - which I find rather annoying, since being at the Eyes of Mara crafting station is about as far as you can get from said wayshrine, and the vendors etc. near there. This is also why I have attunable stations for both sets from Eyevea and both from Earth Forge at my mains' houses. I get a huge preponderance of those sets for Master Writs, and going to either area is WAY more trouble than it's worth for me.
