Can we get Eyevea and the Earthfroge added to the map?

Its always been weird that they aren't on the map to teleport to but hasn't been too big a deal. But while trying to get all the starter antiquities done Eyevea has been a real pain to travel to a town with a mages guild then through a door then a portal to get to somewhere that has a wayshrine in it.

Could we get these added to the world map so we can go directly there?

I thought about this the other day. It doesn’t bother me one way or the other tbh but there are already wayshrines there it wouldn’t be to hard to adjust the global map.p

Personally I think it’s kind of cool having to go the mages/fighters guilds to visit them.

Besides how often do you have to go there for this to be an inconvenience?

Eyeva had a wayshrine in the past.
Put it only appeared when you were already there during your play session.
    And then randomly disappears again.
Dunno if thats still a thing

They should be added to the map, especially Eyevea which already has a wayshrine.

They both have wayshrines. When you check the map within the earth forge you will find that you are in south-western skyrim. Maybe they will update it when they add the reach?

As far as i remember you can click on the fog at the left border of the tamrielic map to see eyevea (not sure if it's a bug or hidden feature of sorts) but doubt there is anything like that for earthforge.

Eyevea does have a Wayshrine in that zone, it is on the Eastern Edge of the Map. There are also Portals back to Various Guild Halls in your Alliance.

Earth Forge does have a Wayshrine, and a Portal back to the FG in Zone 4 for your Alliance. Earthforge Portal was moved at some point.

These zones are part of the FG and MG Lore and can only be reached once you satisfy some quest objectives. It would not make sense to be able to just pop in the zones skipping the questlines entirely.

The Guildshrines addon is SUPPOSED to add a wayshrine on the "Tamriel" map for both Eyevea and Earthforge, though I'm only able to see the one for Eyevea.

Also, it only adds them once you've unlocked the actual area. But again, I don't see an Earthforge one on the map. *shrug*

Just make it so when you click on the wayshrine, it says "You must complete the Mage Guild quest line before you can use this wayshrine." Just like you can see the first wayshrine for Greymoor but you can't use it without buying the chapter.

I can assure you that there are very good reasons for why those two locations cannot be added to the waypoint interface. Very, very good reasons. Definitely.

Incorrect. Earth Forge does have a wayshrine. It's right next to the entrance portal.

Yea, your right. It was the portal that was moved. And, when I popped into the Earth Forge before posting the above I did not see the Urn that serves as a WS now. It used to be all by itself in that structure, and the portal was farther down the path closer to the Forge.

I find it funny when you're actually at the locations they show up on the world map, but once you leave they disappear. Be nice once you've visited them once you can take a quick wayshrine back instead of going to a non-DLC mage/fighter guildhall to travel to those places.

Agreed, can we please get Eyevea's Wayshrine added to the world map, after you've unlocked it after doing the Mage's Guild questline. I know people would be saying who cares, all the facilities etc are available in other zones but you know, some of us are actual roleplayers and love to be immersed in the world, and after going back to Eyevea for the Antiquities, I've found it is actually quite a nice area and I'd love to be go there more easily, so having an active wayshrine there on the map would be great.

This doesn't make sense. All other Wayshrines are locked until you discover them and appear on the map just fine until then, how would the Earthforge and Eyevea Wayshrines be any different? It's not like you could just magically poof to them without unlocking them first, aka by actually physically discovering those locations during the course of the Mages and Fighters Guild quests.

Look at them as a kind of members only club and having to go to the guild is them checking your I.D. at the door. You can't use the wayshrine to get there because they want to keep the riffraff out.

Eyevea definitely now with Antiquities. Currently the option is to run the mage skill line with my Antiquity leveled toon OR level Antiquities with my alternate toon just to scry there. Neither works for me so not doing it lol!

If you have a character that has done the mage skill line you don't also need antiquities on that character do you? I thought the leads were account and not character bound?

The leads are account bound not character bound but the character that is going to scrye for the lead must first go to Western Skyrim to pickup the skill line and must advance in the skill line in order to do different levels of leads.

I hadn't been to either one in probably 3-4 years. Once I dig up all the leads, I probably won't be going back. I don't really see the need to put them on the map. The usage of them is probably temporary at best for the majority of players and going through the guild halls in not a major inconvenience.

Eh, I get master writs for the four sets often enough that I just grabbed attunables - Eyevea on my main account, Earthforge on my second account. Nope, I'm not into guilds - I grab attunables for sets I don't want to mess with getting to regularly for whatever reason - um.... Clever Alchemist anyone? - and spread them out over both accounts, then use Port to Friend's House when needed.

I was looking at this from the wrong angle. Doesn't matter if you have another character leveled in antiquities because even if another character finds the lead the other character can't go find it without access.

Well they would first have to agree that it's even a problem to begin with. This games world feels tont enough as it is, god forbid you have to travel a little to reach a point of interest every now and again.

Obviously these wayshrines would have to still lock people out if they havent done the questlines so people couldn't port others to them.

Seriously though, it's like a hand full of feet away from the wayshrine to any of the guild halls, at worst you have to endure a door transition loading time beyond the zone load.
