Hi there :)
Do you think there is a higher chance of getting yellow materials from Crafting Writs (daily) if you have maxed skilled in the craft skill line
- or can you get as much % chance of getting such good rewards even when you are low level for that particular craft type ? :)

Has anyone provided some comparative analysis with a good n sample ? :)

    In this interesting work by @tmbrinks , a good measurements of % of chance when char are all at max level is provided,

    tmbrinks also suggest that low craft skill will give no reward or less chances, anyone can confirm ? or tell how much ?

    Low level writs appear to only give about a 3% chance of dropping a high level material (from an small sample size). This is from data collected when I was leveling the alt account that now does max level writs.

    High level writs push this to around 30%

    I think you may be on to something. I often get 1 or 2 in a single piece of mail, but to the best of my knowledge I've never gotten 4. This would suggest that there is already variability in the mail rewards, and then your lucky RNG got lucky RNG on top of that.
