The spreadsheet said it can be found on a cabinet on the top floor of the Antiquarians's Circle, but I have all Antiquarian achievements and I don't see anything. Another guildie said they were standing right beside it, but nothing was showing up for me. So is it some sort of other achievement- or quest- related gate? Or is it not instanced, meaning if someone else picks it up after it spawns, I can't? Or does it have to do with possibly-existing cooldowns on acquiring gold leads?

Before anyone asks, no, I haven't already done this lead, so it's not that.

    Kidding aside, I'll see if I can find it later today ...

    Remember that even though your and @Inklings player guides are invaluable for players (including me, thanks!) ... it's still a new patch and getting concrete info is sometimes a moving target.

    I got the coin lead there, but a friend is saying they cant find it

    i believe you need to have certain achievements for the coin to show. i know for a fact you DO NOT need to be level 10 in the skill lines. I have people working on figuring it out now and it seems to be tied to the focal precision achievement and maybe leads master investigator.

    I have both Focal Precision and Leads Master Investigator, no luck on the lead yet. 100% Antiquities completion and haven't seen it pop up yet.

    I have also 100% completion and can't find the lead either.

    I have one mythic item completed. Ring of the wild hunt, if it's important which one.

    I have all antiquities achievements, so it's not related to that; it COULD be related to Western Skyrim and/or Blackreach achieves, but that seems weird, when literally no other lead (that we're aware of) works in the same manner.

    I have not done a single quest in greymoor. I was able to get the coin on first try.

    No idea at this point. I've tried numerous characters and instances, giving up for now as there are still other leads I need to hunt down.

    Try this guys: go to the ‘corner’ of the bookcase to the right. This is where the ‘prompt’ to pick it up showed up after trying to figure it out after 15 minutes. Once the prompt appeared and I clicked ‘E’, my character started running to middle of bookcase which guessing is a space issue

    Hmmm ... apparently I'm one of the people it's not showing up for. I have the Savior of Western Skyrim achievement and have gotten Antiquities skills up to level 7. Maybe there's a particular quest you need to do first that I haven't done? Or maybe it's just bugged?

    Still no news ? I have everything maxed in the achievements and still no coin.

    I got on my first try.
    • Scrying and Excavation level 10 (but I didn't try earlier to be fair)
    • All Antiquities Achievements (even the 'find X leads' one)
    • Haven't done a single quest or achi in Western Skyrim (other than join the Antiquarian Circle ofc)
    • Collected all other Treasure Antiquities in all other zones first
    Not sure what the exact requirements are, just saying that it does exist and these were the conditions for me finding it. Maybe some of these aren't necessary, and maybe it's just bugged. But here we go.

    Edit: That last one was confirmed by several people to be requirement. Mystery solved! :smile:

    After logging into the PTS on a lark, I found that I couldn't even find the coin lead THERE.

    Also not finding it, max in both skill lines and got all Antiquity achievements. Must just be a random chance.
