Personally I have google fiber internet, 8700k 32gigs of ram, 2080ti, and the game saved on a m2 but it still performs horribly.

I feel you with the lag my dude. The harrowstorms and world bosses, the only skill I can use is Flames of Oblivion for my StamdK. Otherwise no other skills are useable, the boss T-Poses on everyone. Also people constantly teleport around.

If this was the first time and the rest of the game did not also have glaring issues and an entire zone (cyrodiil) hadn't been left to rot and.....the issues continue.

This is nothing. Try running from one tower to the next in Cyrodiil only to be hit with 5-10 'micro' load screens all lasting about 30-45 seconds each. ESO is currently skating on the fact that there simply isn't a better alternative available aside from WoW and most of the players here are disaffected WoW players. I'm not sure ZOS even cares as they look to be just sapping as much money as they can from the players they have until it finally ends. The low bar that is Greymoor is proof of that.

What's crazy is that cyrodiil has performed like the overland zone featured in this clip for years. Every patch for the past two years at least, the window during which you can actually participate in combat within cyrodiil has grown smaller. In harrowstorm, the performance improvement patch, we had HANDS DOWN the worst server performance I've seen EVER. I would enter the main campaign at like 9AM eastern, with 1 bar each alliance, and the exact same ability delay shown in this clip would occur anywhere on the map. I'd try the off campaign out on the evening, 2 bars or less each alliance, with the same exact performance.

And now people are saying that they apparently downgraded their servers several months ago based on the fact that one of the "performance patches" improved fps for certain people? FPS literally doesnt matter when this is how the game performs. How can you justify worsening what is already arguably the biggest problem with this game?

To the people saying that they don't experience these issues, and that it must be OP's internet or hardware; you have no idea what you're talking about.
