Bethesda did nothing, Zenimax did. Bethesda is a subsidiary company of Zenimax, but they don't do much, if anything, when it comes to ESO.

Bethesda Softworks is the publisher for all Zenimax games, including ESO, and the Bethesda Gear Store is the official retailer for the physical CE.
If not for the shine it could resemble stone but it just looks like pure plastic figurine for £0.99.
I am so glad I didn't have the funds for physical CE.
@ZOS_GinaBruno is this how the product supposed to look like? Was it a manufacturer error maybe?

Not a great idea unless they use the proper paints. Paint can potentially peel or eat away at the underlying material if you don't know what you're doing when painting certain types of figures.

There could be youtube videos and guides out there for the proper paints and supplies for this sort of thing. given this is a collectors item its wise to be careful with it so the Vampire Lord statue doesn't get damaged. But he/she could likely do it in a way that it can last for many years to come.

Or maybe it's just the lighting? I'm not sure.
Im very dissapointed from the quality from the Greymoore CE figure which arrived today. The quality and material from the the Summerset CE was much better.
For me it looks like few color layers are missing completly.

Either way some other people have reported similar results to OP's.
