I will explore the story, quests and region
Antiquities is a long term thing for me as there is only a few items that vaguely interest me and i know they will take time and RNG to get.
Explore, do the quests and hope for a mythical item to fix Cyrodiil (yep i see Unicorns)

As a general rule, I will always pick a character who is a race from that geographical area. So for Greymoor, this likely means Nord, for Elsweyr it was a Khajiit character, and so on.

I use the selected character to complete the chapter story and explore. That's my approach. Any dungeons/trials, I just participate in as normal with whatever I deem the best character for the job (I have 18 characters).

So far I have found playing one of my Orcs through Wrothgar, most fun.

I just started 3-4 weeks ago so still working through the base game content and doing dlcs in order (up to morrowind atm on main and doing daggerfall covenant content on my alt) so, I'll do greymoor later on. It won't go anywhere. I might go there if it'´s needed to be able to start doing antiquities though.

Same here I didn't know whether to play my vampire, my non-vampire main character or my nord. I have chosen my non-vampire main and the others can do it after.

I really want to finish some other stuff first. I am very excited for Greymoor to be honest, but I haven't even finished the main quest yet, or my faction zones, or any other DLCs. So I am going to do some of that. I also don't have enough skill points to put into antiquities or anything. So I'll be doing some skyshard farming too.

I'll probably get to Greymoor in a month or two.

I will clear out the whole lot then give antiquities a look after, bit disappointed by the mythic items tho , alot of the perks of them are followed by negatives which seem a bit detrimental to a build.

Am I the only person that was underwhelmed by the combination of ESO-Skyrim (yawn) and Vampires?

Probably going to wait until it becomes DLC so I don't have to pay for it.

Have no idea when Ill get to enter Greymoor.
I ordered the PCE from Amazon the day it was announced.
For months, Amazon said it would be here for launch.
Got an email late today that it hasnt even shipped yet.
Like they couldnt let me know that a week ago?
Kinda bummed and it has taken the excitement out of it for me.

@Katahdin you should be getting a code from ZOS that lets you play from day one if your pce doesn't get there in time if you contact support. Check their news side there should be something about it there.

    I did contact support.
I am seeing people that did it 4 and 5 days ago didnt get thier code yet so I cant expect to get mine yet

Honestly, I'm not sure, I'm having the same dilemma as you are. But I voted for Antiquities because I'm super intrigued by that system.

Does anyone know yet whether we get any additional character slots? That will determine my approach otherwise, because I'm maxed out on alts. So if we get one more, I'll start one with the new tutorial and see how it goes from there. Otherwise I probably won't bother with it for a while.

I prefer to quest more on my own than with 10,000 other players, so I will do more Antiquities at first than anything else. Then, once the hubbub settles down, I will do more of the content.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Current plan is to pop in long enough to pick up Antiquities and then head back later in the week once everything's settled down a bit and I've actually done the Graymoor prologue.

I always start a new character to experience whatever new tutorial storyline they have going, and also to know whether or not I should recommend it in particular whenever a new friend starts playing ESO.

After the tutorial it'll depend on how much fun I'm having with my new character whether or not I keep playing them through the entire zone storyline or then switch over to one of my primary characters after that and run through the zone the first time with them.

One key benefit of a new character, if I don't allocate champion points for them immediate, is that they won't feel grossly overpowered when I go through the main zone story.

The option i want is not included here.

I want to do things simultaneously like i did with last expansion. A bit of questing, then start the antiquities skill line then a trial, do more questing rinse and repeat. I also like to take the time to explore, open up,any dailies in the zone, delves etc.

    I can't wait for Greymoor 😊😊😊

I meant to add that I’ll also work with my vampire to see how to make use of the new vampire skills, see if I can come up with a Lara Croft-esque look for her Antiquities outfit, and try out the werewolf updates 😀
