Negate pulls you out of mist form - Is this a bug?

Just wondering as this has implications for its use in Cyrodiil as Mist Form would of been a good way to enter a heavily defended keep.

No it's not a Bug as magicka channels (as other magicka abilities) get interrupted by negate

Interesting.... mistform is technically a spell and negate cancels all magic in an area. If you get attacked by mass vampires I can totally see Sorcerers becoming a necessity now.

Well if you get pulled out, and you're stage 2 or above, you get 6 seconds of +300 spell and weapon damage.Although if you're trying to cross a breach with mass meatbag catapults firing at it well.... yeah you're done.

It just seams to be a downer on an already *** poor skill line.

Since they destroyed Blood Frenzy, and Memorize untrustworthy, there isn't a lot left usable

As a magro main crotching on vampire im very disappointed but not surprised.

Off topic:
Cast bb, then let a friend cast negate over it in a Duell, be happy about a atleast 10 sec block of your burst skill even if you are outside of negate. Bb is blocked the whole duration.
Another reason why bb should be recastable like any other burst skill.

But would negate not kill the bb? I mean, nobody uses the morph heal of negate. Also, who uses negate in duels?

honestly we did not need a reason for MORE sorcs.

A fellow guild member an I did a bunch of testing and the only thing that pulled me out of mist form was Negate, everything else did nothing. We then went to Cyrodiil to try siege. Mistform did its job except against lightning balista. That drained my magic so fast and mist form dropped.

Yeh, this is intended and has always been the case.

That's the point of negate....
