The stun on surprise attack

Wouldn’t it be better to have the stun on ambush? You would have more control when you stun your target and if your using ambush because minor vulnerability is good you would lead with ambush for your burst anyways. Just a thought I really want our class to be good again.

    No please not on Ambush. The skill is awful, makes me predictable and easily punishable (I can't block while using it) and isn't worth a skill slot even with the minor vulnerability on it (imo we should even delete the vulnerability from it and put it on a useful skill instead). I'd delete the class if I'm forced to slot this horrible, horrible skill. Nb needs to get utility and special effects back on it's good skills which are actually used. Buffing niche skills which aren't used and which we don't have barslots for is pointless.
    I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

    Everyone has there opinions but personally I love ambush when used with mark you can get of very nasty damage just don’t be predictable with it sometimes I ambush then incap after other times ambush LA surprise attack incap. I literally play magblade same way but with staffs and lotus fan feels like a better version of ambush I strongly recommend you trying ambush mate.

    Oh and after incap I always fear then go for the bow sometimes I will fear let thm roll out of it thn go for the bow

    I'm all for putting Vulnerability on something actually useful for for mag- and stamblades, that would be already some improvement to NBs' group utility. Speaking for PvE, nobody has a business including a clunky gap closer with hidden cast time into their rotation. It's not used in PvE and it doesn't do anything to help with underdog state of NBs in PvP, so what's even the point. I find skills like mark, lotus fan - all examples of bad design; and it's not even originally bad design, it's the aftermath of combat team consistently mutilating NB toolkit and mindlessly shuffling things back and forth without actually improving anything.

    The issue lies with the animation of the skill so why not fix that first. Gap Closers defined as "Charges" feel fantastic after the minimum travel distance removal and animation clean ups. You can use them like spammables. The only outlier is "Teleports" which make DW and NB's Gap Closer feel crappy. Fix that and give back the original stun.
