I don’t know if it’s been asked on here already but when you change your alliance does it affect your pvp rank?

I tested the token on PTS yesterday. Alliance War rank, AP, and PvP achievements were not affected. But, all Cyrodiil quests were gone, including a "Kill Sorcs" quest that was 14/20.

As, for the logic of keeping ranks, I think it is easy to see it as the new alliance, for example, hiring a Tribune to serve as a Tribune. That's the way things work with mercenary soldiers.

It hasn't been mentioned in either the patch notes or the ESO news snippet.

I think you're safe, @Dakkx, but we won't know 100% for sure until ZOS releases the tokens on Live.

Last week on the PTS, I tested it on my 5-star, twice. The rank didn't change; it kept the 5 stars.

    Might be joking in comments.

Which is kind of weird because why would they instantly promote a traitor before they are proven?
But internally I can see how it can really screw things up because your rank gave you skill points already so resetting it can definitely complicate things.
