Personally, if I were to hate-whisper everyone who's better than me, I'd be so busy typing angrily into the chat box that I'd have no time for anything else! I just proceed from the assumption that I'm going to lose, so there's nothing to get upset about.

I thought I was the only oneI enjoy healing, pvp is fun for me. I'm useless in a 1v anything. I measure my success by how long I survive. All that counts is keeping my team alive and buffed for as long as I can. I can get a bit grumpy if I'm killed on the other side of the map but hating a player just because they have mastered their role is a sure sign of an inferiority complex. Try not to let it bother you OP.

I’m loving it each time I manage to *** someone off to the point they have to degrade themselves, all while I’m in my jammies, sipping tea, and high fives the cats.
Welcome to the club of awesomeness ❤️

Not sure that's winning....

I got a hate whisper for LOSING. Like, I was there to finish my Master Angler thing, so I was literally just standing there fishing and someone ran up and killed me. I was like, fine, this was a good enough time for a bio anyway since it was gonna take me a while to get back out to the fishing spot. Came back to a hate whisper telling me how much I sucked because I was easy to kill.
That was when I came up with my current strategy for dealing with hate whisperers. There is a particular children's song that went viral a year or so ago...most people have heard it. I'm not going to type it out because I don't want to set it off stuck in people's heads that are just skimming through, but if you think about annoying children's songs that get stuck in your head forever you will know which one I'm talking about. So now if I get a hate whisper, I BS them. I just answer them with the lyrics to that song so it will get stuck in their head, and then I put them on ignore. It's very satisfying. I don't have to know what their reaction is, I know there's a very high chance I just got a annoying af song stuck in someone's head for days as punishment for being a jerk to me for no reason, and I think that's fair.
