One thing that I find very limiting in the character creation of ESO is the fact that makeup options are only a very limited part of the head markings. The characters have very few options on makeup style and are forced to pick from a small few combinations. Want dark red lipstick and black eye shadow? Not an option on most races. Want freckles and lipstick both? Nope. Want a scar and any makeup? Nope.
While this might require a bit of work and a fairly hefty patch I would LOVE to see the character creation modified to add a "makeup" section with lipstick color, lipstick style, eye shadow color, eye shadow style, blush, and eye liner style. Skyrim largely had this split out in this way.
I posted this in the crown store section because A) I did not see a better location for it (a character creation/Cosmetics section of the forums might be popular) and
I would happily pay 10,000 crowns for a makeup table/furniture motif I could place in a house where I could go to alter the cosmetics of my character.
To add to the potential revenue of a system like this makeup colors could be a lot like dyes, such that rarer colors could be sold in the crown store, acquired as drops, given out in events, or given as gifts to ESO+ members on occasion. The initial selections would be fairly sparse, much like armor dyes, and you would need to collect more to get the ability to create different looks.
The makeup styles could also be limited at the start and sold/added through the crown store and other means. For people who would want this type of thing collecting a lot of the colors and styles would be quite important to them and as such be the type of thing that does very well on the crown store, similar to how much many people want more hair styles available to them.
I honestly cannot be bothered with the face tattoos and head adornments that are all over the crown store, but the above would get a lot of my money. It is kind of crazy we can pick from dozens of face tattoos and face markings and have a total of about 5 makeup selections.
PS: Even if additional pre-built makeup styles were sold in the crown store that could be added like the tattoos are, that would not be as good as splitting out the system and revamping the character creation but it would be a lot better than nothing. I imagine makeup/makeovers sold in the crown store as "markings" would be tremendously popular. Especially if you market them right, aka Vampire style blood red lipstick and dark eyeshadow. If the aforementioned cannot be done can we see more of things like this? These are fairly easy to implement and could be very lucrative.
