Its hard to accept these bugs when u spend thousend of hours an a lot of money.
For the developers its just a key in the database... but nvm.

At the time of the facts I was noob and I did not know.
If ZOS does not allow the possibility, as it did with other books, including "List of Sequestered Guests", to be able to read the book even after having already done the quest, there is no longer any way to read it.
Yes, unfortunately ZOS either doesn’t test or doesn’t ensure accessibility of lorebooks when doing quests in group. It’s bitten me a few times as well, especially when I was new too.
For the Assassin’s Orders one, I would suggest also sending in a bug report in game using /bug. The devs have said they prefer that, though it’s hard to judge the efficacy of it.

I got hit by this bug of it despawning/not even showing up during the quest so now I have two bugged lorebooks keeping me from 100% complete.

✭Also, please put a REACHABLE post-quest location for "Merchant Lords' Compiled Documents". It is currently unreachable - at least without aid from another player - if you jump down from the exit from the Zenithar's Abbey public dungeon, without having previously gone back *in* to the abbey after talking to the quest completer outside it.
This is because the formerly openable door from the public dungeon into the Abbey itself has been made no longer openable once you are no longer on the quest.
