Midyear Mayhem v6.0.1 Problems

I have two major concerns with the method of acquiring event tickets in Imperial City.
From the patch notes: "Your Event Tickets for this event are split into two groups of two each; the first pair comes from completing your first Cyrodiil or Battleground daily each day, and the second pair comes from completing your first Imperial City District daily quest each day."

Problem #1
There is no Below 50 Imperial City campaign. Therefore unlike in Battlegrounds or Cyrodiil, players who are Below 50 have no choice but to PVP against players with maxed gear and builds, even if they choose the No CP campaign for Imperial City.
Since Imperial City is required for two event tickets, it will benefit new players below level 50 to have their own campaign where they don't have to fight players with maxed gear/builds.
Is this intended?
If not, solution: have a temporary or permanent below 50 Imperial City campaign.

Problem #2
The platforms onto which players exit their sewer base into the sewers are still vulnerable to gap-closing skills, enabling enemy players to camp those exits and kill players while they are helpless in their loading screens. This was a problem during the last two Imperial City events. Its also inconsistent with the safety afforded by exiting into the Districts.
Since Imperial City is required for two event tickets, it will benefit players to not die in loading screens from attackers who are gap-closing up to an area they are otherwise not supposed to be able to reach.
Is this intended?
If not, a possible solution: certain areas in Imperial City have effects that suppress gap-closers and enemy attacks. Those could be added to the platforms immediately upon exiting the sewer bases into the sewers to be consistent with the safe platforms on exiting to the Districts.

Thank you for your consideration.

I am willing to bet if they made a separate under 50 campaign you would get bagged just as hard by the same players who create alts with top notch gear for under 50 battlegrounds.

I seem to have trouble starting the quest for Midyear Mayhem. (Tried with w 2 chars.)

Edit: could pick the quest up near Solitude gate, next to the For Glory quest.

(Also trouble taking a screenshot, instead of Print Screen taking a screensghot I have to save image with picture editor from clipboard after pressing "Print Screen" key. It did work before and I don't remember making any changes.)

Another issue is that certain streamers apparently have nothing better to do with their time than just gate-camp the alliance home bases, thus making it so some people, who may not have 12 hours a day to play, literally CANNOT get their tickets from IC.

It seems like a terrible idea. ZOS, people will sit there ALL DAY and just hurrdurr about it on their Twitch streams...

Technically, you can get out by using the ladders to travel to a District, then drop back into the sewers.

But dying in loading screens on the base platform is just frustrating, especially when ZOS is careful not to allow attackers when entering the Districts from the sewers or even when transitioning to another District in places.

I'm surprised it's not something they'd want to fix asap, since it's a major contributing factor to people who may not have been to IC before never wanting to go there again. Hell, I love the place and have had some of my favorite PvP experiences there when all three factions had groups of 10+, but I avoid it like the plague during these events because it's so damn frustrating for very preventable reasons.

Want to gank me when I'm loaded in and off my platform? Fair play to you. Annoying, but part of PvP. Going to kill me before I've loaded in and/or find a way up to the platform? That's just griefing.

I think adding an obligatory IC visit to get event tickets is a terrible idea.

Imperial City is considered the most cancerous area in the game for a reason - as it is a mixture of PvP & PvE.
    - Queue times. IC is a relativity small zone. Imagine all PvE players trying to get 2 event tickets. You will probably need to add 3 - 5 IC additional campaigns.
    - LAG - more people, more lag, greater risk of server crash. And this is something that I think both sides (PvP & PvE players) want to avoid.
    - Forcing people do content they don't like is a fast way to get rid of your player-base. It is not the same as Undaunted event where PvP players had to do dungeons. In that event you could do Fungal Grotto solo on normal and get the reward. It is more like forcing PvP players to do some DLC dungeons on veteran.
    - In Cyrodiil, you could join any random campaign and do scouting quest to get event tickets. Just sneak from point A to point B and /stuck when done. Easy. In IC sneaking from point A to point B and killing some NPCs will be almost impassible to do without getting ganked - as during the event there is increased amount of people.

    Simple solution:
Add Imperial City dungeons as an alternative way to get IC event tickets. Less people will queue for Imperial City. Less of a need to create additional IC campaigns. Less stress on a server. More people that can enjoy the event.

How long is the event going to take ? 2 weeks at most. So 14 daily quest in IC. Maybe we should do them now on like 2 - 3 characters, park them in IC Alliance base and wait for the event and each day login to that character & compleat one quest ?

The IC storyline is no longer a prerequisite as of 6.0.0.
