"Magicka Flood" nightblade passive is not working on the PTS.

This is not just a visual tooltip bug, i double checked it. The 8% max magicka is not registering on PTS.
Resetting the skills points in the passive makes the passive work until you reslot the skill, then it stops working again.

on live servers its working fine, so i didn't know where to put this post, so feel free to move it to "bug reports" if this is not the place.

The last thing magicka nightblades need right now is another "nerf"

Based on my testing it works when you have a siphoning skill slotted on bar #2, but it does NOT work by simply slotting a siphoning skill on bar #1.

Nice catch, Not sure why this is when they didn't tinker with any classes really.

Other info:
Tested on an existing character that was a vampire.
no equipment and fully equipped
no other skills
filled Bar "1" with only Siphoning line and saw no change
slotted 1 siphoning skill bar "2" and saw the increase per passive.

I don't think this is a bug from this PTS, I've posted about this in the nightblade feedback thread, reported it ingame, And it's been an ongoing problem for several patches now.

Reminds me of the mages guild's skills bonus max magicka when slotted being registered on the opposite bar for several years.

I hope this does not becomes a thing, i'm aware it's an ongoing problem but somehow the PTS has made it worse, no workaround fixes it...

Losing 8% max magicka for a bug is a big deal, especially on an already struggling class.

@ZOS_GinaBruno please address this.

Well i did some further testing, i made an exact copy of my pts nightblade (same race faction sets etc) and...the passive works just fine! and on the other original pts character the passive still acts strangely, when you equip or unequip your weapons the passive randomly turns off and on, sometimes even appearing on the opposite bar where the siphoning ability is not slotted!
after i relogged the passive seemed to have fixed itself for the time being on both characters.

this is kind of a strange behavior, i don't experience this bug on live or anything but could it be possible that some players do and some players don't? this bug is inconsistent and does not always occur, and even when it does it sometimes just fix itself when you pop to a different zone or reslot some gear or skills.

maybe that's how this bug has stayed hidden for so long...

So one last message to wrap things up.
I'm now on live, the bug occurs (bonus shows on opposite bar) however, the damage on the bar with the slotted skill is higher, so it just might be just a visual tooltip bug after all
I really don't know what to say...

So it sounds like something worth investigating. Will have to test damage to see if it is simply visual. Very confusing to say the least.
