So i also need to buy Orsinium or have ESO Plus to get the full content of a chapter that i already fully paid for?

Are you kidding me?

Antiquities is is a system that is meant to be used for dlcs and chapters and will be useful for future ones. If you limit it to just greymoor then the system would become redundant once greymoor is gone so this is a good thing to keep it relevant.

agree. Since it will be an expanding and growing system for the future its good to have something in every zone.

Can still be done better to just Vanilla and greymore zones in the beginning to not force players to buy dlcs/eso plus to get the full content.

Sure future content can come and also have the system build into but its quite of a robbery in my opinion.

You didn't pay for the content located in the other DLCs.
Antiquities itself is part of the Greymoor chapter, and you will have access to that. You're paying for access to the system of antiquities itself, and you get it in every zone you have unlocked.
An antiquity being located in a DLC zone is then technically part of that DLC zone. So yeah; ESO+ or buy the DLC or wait for a free trial.

It'd be limiting if it was JUST in Greymoor and vanilla zones.

These mythical items suck anyway. These buffs are very wrong and create a disadvantage to others.
    Pay to win?

You mean some of them are frankly said just OP as hell?
Because 25% more damage is just stupidly broken, same as immunity to roots and snares.

Its good but not broken. I wont be using it myself, not all gonna benefit from it, not NB/Sorc for example. Besides crits still do more dmg, also hight crits rate provides better healing... yup, crits better.

Guess you forgot, that greymoor meta wont evolve around crit, but rather penetration via balorgh or the new 13k pen set. Also the ring increase damage done of all proc sets too...but ok. If you say its not OP, then you must be right.

Forcing you to pay for content you would not normally play because it is associated with a possibly game changing gear piece for you, is not nice.

But I must protest against voices critizising ZoS' wish to care for old content and make it somewhat relevant again. This is something most MMOs do not manage or do not care for. Many people still play this old content, especially those starting out now. This content is still high quality and very enjoyable. Arguabily more than latest content in some cases.

It is good they do not let old content whither away.

Its says it negate "critical damage". No words that it negate "critical healings".

It does not negate critical healing and it also does not boost normal healing.

It's almost like you have to have the whole game to experience all parts of the game. Who woulda thought.

    Hmm...

+25% damage all of the time
    OR
+90% damage 50% of the time

...don't know about you but the band doesn't really seem worth it, maybe if you had a crit chance of like.. 30% and used slow attacks then yeah, but otherwise.....not really seeing it.

This is how noCP looks like , especially with +25% damage of procset and thus it will be bis build for those who will buy Chapter, so looks a bit like p2w. Unless those item sets Relics are not bound and can be sold. @ZOS_GinaBruno can we get info about is it bop or boe?

I would never play this game without eso+, you have to cough up a fortune to buy all the dlcs separately, and you're missing out on content anyway if you just play the base game so why complain about this?

This ring will be nerfed for sure though lol. When I saw the stats on it I spit out my beer.

Well, there was a similar situation (reverse) when Summerset came out. Advancing Yokeda (a base game set) became BiS for stam DPS even though it was a heavy armor set. It became BiS only due to Jewelry Crafting which was Summerset only.
ZOS cannot keep on designing systems for people who do not own a part of the game (especially since there are so many DLCs now). Antiquity system is designed to make use of all various areas (and to get people to check-out other zones, especially people who are new to the game)

    100% depends on your build.

In non cp is more like 20-30% crit for 50/60% dmg depends on spec.

Even in cp most builds have around 70% crit dmg with 30-40% crit chance.

Then you've got to take into account peoples crit resist most run like 2-3k currently. When we find out what the amount you'll get in the battle spirit that need to be taken into account too.

But basically currently people have like 35-45% crit dmg reduction. So most builds are looking at 35%~ chance to deal an extra 35-45% dmg.
