So, since I had to delete PTS before this update and currently can't redownload it, can someone share the values of vampire passives please, since they are not included in natch potes?

    They keep going on about getting stronger as you feed but the passives do not make up for the massive penalties so really you still get weaker as you feed it is just less obvious.

    Strike from Shadows is good but it only boosts magicka damage, your burst damage is still weaker then if you were a stamina build, unnatural movement is really only good for running away but it takes 3 seconds to go invisible, in combat 3 seconds is a long time.

    Seems to me Vamp Tanks are mostly dead. Would have to actually test it, but there is nothing in the new skill line for tanking that I can see.

    Im still a vampire, idc about either it's just my thing.

    I found staying stage 3 was sufficent enough for me on pts.

    carry around bloody mara and the disatrously bloody mara and it works out.

    The only reason I see to be vamp is for RP and pvp. Pve community got shafted again as usual. They even nerfed all the tank monster sets ffs.

    Yup. Gankers and speed meta will be back. Imagine catching an orc warden who can sprint from keep to keep in invisibility and can be caught only mounted. Sounds fun, doesn't it? :)

    And about sustain worries. Use battlefield acrobat/alteration mastery to decrease the 20% cost increase impact, thanks to strike from shadows lack of offensive set won't be a problem but you get undeath, sprint cost reduction and invisibility on demand ;)

    (2 items) Adds 1206 Max Health
    (3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    (4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    (5 items) While Sprinting you gain Major Expedition and Major Protection, increasing your Movement Speed and reducing your damage taken by 30%.




    Want another interesting option for uncatchable stamblade?
    (2 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
    (3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    (4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    (5 items) Reduces the cost of Sprint by 50%. While Sprinting, restore 1000 Magicka every 1 second.

    So in general with Unnatural Movement you will be able to sprint almost at no cost in Invisibility, while also restoring your magicka for cloak. If you need to gank use cloak, if you need to runaway use unnatural movement.

    Oh and since you are an ganker, you don't need tons of sustain just a lot of damage. If gank fails, just runaway and try again!

    Yes fun for stamina players. But PVP already has a massive issue right now, nobody wants to stand and fight anymore. It's all run away as soon as you start losing, and then come back and run over the player with largely superior numbers.


    These balance decisions (and others) only serve to create this meta more and more. Not a great time when you spend a bucketload of time running away yourself and/or having to constantly chase people down. I understand a bit of it is required, but right now it's very extreme, and getting worse as time goes on!

    Yup. In the past only magsorcs could do it. It was so bad, that ZOS heavily nerfed Bolt Escape and morphs with addition of cost increase. Now almost every stamina player can disengage at will thanks to easy access to speed buffs and sprint cost reduction.
