I completed the tutorial easily with a lvl1 new char.

I missed the information about the difference between LA and HA, if there was any.

The items in the vale where not signaled enough, IMO, that was a lot better in the old tutorial.

I completely missed the lock tutorial.

The final witch mini boss (Urgala?) went down without problem, but if I had been a novel player, I would have learned very little, apart from using my only skill and some HA.

When I tried to reach Solitude, I found myself in the login screen

It seems to me that in the French game, there is an error for the Reach. Reach almost sounds like "Brèche" which is none other than "The Rift". While normally we should have "Crevasse" and not "Brèche". Would it be possible to verify this?

I finished the main quest (with some difficulty due to the frequent crashes and rollbacks that have been happening).

The tutorial was fine. I still would really like the option to choose from among all the existing tutorials, but I digress. Navigation was pretty clear, Fennorian was a fine companion, and I received my lessons in blocking, bashing, heavy attacking, sneaking, etc pretty clearly.

The surprise villain of the story? The least surprising villain reveal ever. He was an objectionable, obstructive, unpleasant individual the entire time. His motivations also seem a little bland. I would have liked some more in depth study of his feelings on his wife's death, and how he evolved from a strict ruler to a paranoid sociopathic monster.

I would have liked to learn more about the Grey Host. A joint army of vampires and werewolves? Super cool! But why did they join forces? What made them so close? Angry Redguard vampire Big Bad viewed his exarchs as family, but I felt like I was told about that bond rather than shown it. The story on the whole was solid, but shallow - I wanted more depth and more information.

Also, when I left Castle Dour at the end, Solitude looked completely normal. That was jarring. The place had just been all but destroyed by this massive harrowstorm, I went through hell and high water, and I stop the villain and leave...and all the vendors are out and people are milling about in the streets as though nothing had happened. The city should still be in crisis with wounded people and such, and at least require me to leave and reenter to find stores back up and running, or something.

I did like that during Greymoor Keep you kind of swap your companions in and out as you go - different people accompany you through different sections, and that was neat to hear their respective commentaries as we climbed.
PC NA, CP2200+. Character creation is the true endgame.

I've experienced roll-backs a few times now, first with the Holds quest, now finishing Camps quest. It's a little bit annoying, especially when you need to ride the whole road to the spot on the map again and again since progress is wiped.

I've finally finished the MQ and here is a (maybe not so) quick summary.

it seems shorter than even Elsweyr one, but by design now you're getting a pat on the back if you're accepting or already completed side quests when any MQ part brings you back to the place you've been before. This is... good, I do like a good pat on the back time to time. With this in mind story spreads a lot better. Stakes are clear, pace is good, no fillers which is nice. Playing it with an experienced character so to speak will certainly be a lot more fun. So I'm waiting for my EU copies now for re-run.

Again, it's better than Elsweyr MQ, like a ton. It doesn't have absolutely anti-climactic stupid moments like single handedly fighting a dragon one in the middle of the story Elsweyr had.
New 'good' characters are not annoying and I didn't spend a single moment thinking about some recurring folk taking their place. Bringing a dungeon character as a lead is also a good move, both in terms of character development and making people want to run dungeons. Princess-with-a-bow felt almost like an apology for another princess-with-a-bow and I do accept this apology. Nord princess was a girl I could die for. She had a nice arc and it felt like natural progression.
Villains...Not so much. We had too little time with not-so-surprise betrayal guy, his motivation is kinda meh to me because despite talking about him with his own daughter like all the time it didn't gave me a bigger picture on him, let alone make me care about him. I guess if you call a man power-hungry and not distant it'll be a too bright red flag. BUT I do appreciate that this time it's only two major players here with interesting sidekicks rather than full on "i wanna be a big bad too" company. After four "now it's my turn to be evil!" in Elsweyr it was a welcoming tone down.

It's still not Summerset (which was a grand finale, years of build up, so pretty much Endgame for your ESO-verse and you need to revert to the previous model of storytelling to make another Summerset) or Morrowind. Greymoor inspired a lot more from these, it shows, and I appreciate that after Elsweyr.
But I also can't help but wonder if there is too much good plot points spread on side quests? Will they be remembered in the slightest in story to come? I saw a few quickly and while Greymoor plot is pretty stationary on itself, lore put into it and a lot of questions asked in the beginning were answered in the end, it feels like after it's ending it needs more like a direct sequel rather than what Dragonhold was for Elsweyr, a spin-off.

Overall... I was losing my faith after Elsweyr, even tho Dragonhold was a nice summer blockbuster and Epilogue was a good compared to a disaster Elsweyr was, but now I have a lingering hope.

Before I forgot, there is some non-animated voiceover from Fenn after quest 1 at the beginning of quest 2, from Lyris (3 or 4th?) after a certain rescue, prince in the end calls Grey Host Grey Ghost and Jorrun lacks a beard makes him look funny, is it a bug?

Alright, I did the whole main quest because I'm obsessed with Rivenspire and the Ravenwatches and couldn't control myself. Overall I enjoyed it and am excited for what's to come! But some feedback and bugs:

    - If you haven't done the tutorial, it's not clear that Fennorian is from the House unless I missed some dialogue somehow? I got a surprise when Lyris asked who he was and I somehow knew (now, I was playing my House Ravenwatch member at the time so it made sense that he knew, but I'm not sure that excuse works for most characters!)

    - I really enjoyed working with Lyris, Fennorian, and Svana and seeing their development through the story, and I liked that we got to alternate and spend time with all of them throughout quests. And I don't even know how to begin thanking you for adding more Ravenwatch content because they are my favourite faction and I am still in shock that they're having more adventures! Seriously, thank you so much, I can't get enough of them <3

    - I agree with others that I was not at all surprised when Svargrim turned on us, and it seemed a little weird that no-one really queried his behaviour at all? It seemed pretty obvious he had something to do with it long before the reveal. I think that's my main gripe about the plot, I felt nothing for him and therefore felt nothing when he betrayed us.

    - I'm not sure if I'm a positive or a negative about this yet, but I kind of wish we had more information about some of the things we discovered (the "more depth and information" point mentioned above in this thread)? It seemed to me like some really interesting and relevant-sounding things were glossed over with little to no option to ask NPCs about them, but I'm hoping Q3 and Q4 will clear them up? If that turns out to be the case, that's awesome and I am really excited to discover the answers! If not, I'm definitely going to be a bit disappointed because I really wanted to know more about some of the things we learned.

    - (Now this isn't part of the Main Quest exactly, but I have to add this because it relates to the previous point - that side quest at Greymoor Keep seemed like it should have been discussed way more than it was? What was in the Research Note was a pretty big revelation and the NPCs present said very little other than being equally confused, and I have so many questions it hurts)

    - Svargrim bugged out during the final battle and reset numerous times. I had to relog and re-enter the keep to fix it.

    - I appreciate that Fennorian gave a little hint as to where the story is going next if you go back to him at the Mages Guild after the story ends

    - I am incredibly jealous that Rada al-Saran gets to be a Redguard vampire who isn't turned white by his affliction! Could we pretty please have that option for players in the future?

That's all I can think of at present but overall, I did have fun and am eager to see where this leads :) .

I feel that Falkreath and Whiterun leaving West Skyrim should've probably been added to what didn't help or made Svargrims paranoia worse.

I say Falkreath and Whiterun leaving West Skyrim because as far as we knew before Greymoor that Whiterun and Falkreath were apart of West Skyrims Kingdom and now they're not without anyone really mentioning it even with the Jarl of Whiterun appearing in West Skyrim (the Rigurt the Brash quest).

He actually bugged one time for me as well. At the end of the fight when health bar dessapears and dialogue VO plays, he continued to follow me for about 10 to 15 seconds, not attacking, when he should've became a blood mist and port at the center. After that fight was reset, he ported at the center and health bar was restored to full. Killed him again and all went according to script this time.

I've got an almost-completely-spoiler-free thread going about my many many many crashes while trying to do the main quest. They were mostly on the first day, and I got a lot of rollbacks trying to deal with the Blue Palace assignation and its aftermath. But I managed to get past that.

However, now I have been stuck for 24 hours trying to get into the Morthal Barrow. Every attempt kicks me to the login screen. I can go off and do other things (the Labyrinthian public dungeon and the Wailing Prison for the Molag Bal main quest) and all that works fine. But I come back to Morthal Barrow and it's crash city.

I'm going to try one more thing: abandoning the main quest and starting it over. The one thing past that is starting the entire main quest over with one of my established characters (I'm using a character from scratch to play through). But hopefully the drop and restart move will work.

I am @JosephNobles in game if you can pore through the logs and see anything on your end.
Been there, got the Molag Bal polymorph.

I abandoned and played through the main quest again. Once again I got kicked trying to enter the Morthal Barrow door.

I suppose it is worth mentioning that every time I log back in, the unprompted audio dialogue from Lyris and the lieutenant at the barrow starts up again. However the lieutenant had a(n optional) quest marker only after I abandoned and played back through the quest. I remember thinking that it was odd that she lost it after the crashes, but after so many, I forgot to say that. So after the crashes, the game remembers that I have talked to the lieutenant (no quest marker anymore after I prompt for the audio and written dialogue). But the unprompted audio dialogue still plays each time I log back in after a crash at the door.

@ZOS_Finn this is the issue I had as @TiaFrye described it, except this happened about 5 or so times in a row before I decided to try relogging. I sent a bug report in game as well (200422-003571) but I'll put more detail here.

I'm honestly not sure what caused it, I tried killing him in multiple different ways and tried to force him into different parts of the area to see if either of those things were bugging it out but had no luck. The only thing I did differently after the relog was that I didn't talk to Svana before attacking him, but I didn't talk to her before every fight and it kept happening...

If it helps, this particular character was a stamina nightblade vampire using Relequen/Selene/Master Bow/Briarheart. I wondered if a set effect was messing him up but it didn't bug out the second time in the same gear so I don't think that was it but just in case! I also tried different skills each kill but in the end did it with surprise attack, poison injection, killer's blade, endless hail and Dawnbreaker.

Let me know if you need more information from me, thanks

I’ve had the Game crash to character select screen or log in screen several times while entering or leaving the Proudspire Manor.

Spotted a lot of absent and wandering cabinets in Greymoor Keep while crawling to the final fight.

    VqsKKmh.jpg

I did the final fight with a new lv15/0cp stamcro with random gear dropped while questing - mostly junk heavy armor, (2 armor + 2 or 3 jewelry of Venomous Smite, not sure because rollbacks), Prophets Greatsword, and no build or rotation (only 4 abilities, no backbar) emulating totally casual newbie player. (After half dozen server rollbacks I just stopped caring.)

No cheats. (Except: Crown Fortifying Meal, Crown Tri-Restoration Potions, Crown Soul Gems, max riding skill, bank and inventory space.)

For me the final fight reset once and otherwise felt unchallenging. While I was getting hit and glued to floor all the time I did receive little to no damage and while whittling boss health away slowly but steadily.

The reset happened when boss was low enough hp to move at center, "Press X to throw the bottle" did not appear, only difference I noticed compared to successful fight. Maybe boss got to 0hp too early?

I'm currently attempting to complete the main zone quest, but I'm stuck at the entrance of Morthal Barrow: whenever I try to enter it (even after speaking to the Thane) I'm pushed to the login screen, with a message of no web connection (without rollback, luckily), which ofc is not true.

If I leave the quest and instead explore around, all goes well.

I've completed the Labirinthian public dungeon: predictably easy for my maxed and lavishly armed char, maybe a tad too easy. Bosses with clear mechanics.

The scenery is very reminiscent of the old (and beloved) Skirim, but somehow more bleak. Till now I have not noticed any texturing problem (not so much variety there, but good work, overall).

The ritual sites are still a mystery to me. I've been unable to find any hint in the in game help.

Today I tried to get into MB again with the new character and had no luck. So I'm redoing the main quest with an established 810CP character. I did not have the rollback problem at the Blue Palace assassination part of the quest but I did have a texture bug once I left Solitude this time. Today was the first time I saw that. I understand that the texture bug causes other people to hang up like it was quicksand or something, but I've never had that problem on PC. I see the misloaded ground texture, but I'm able to ride across it with no issue. I got to the next quest objective and decided to log out and back in to save my spot, and popped my head in here to give that report.

    The established character got in!

One crash inside, but I was able to log in and run around and kill the things. And on exiting, Lyris's line killed me: "If I never have to enter another barrow again, it'll be too soon."
Been there, got the Molag Bal polymorph.

Today I tried first to get the newbie character into the Morthal Barrow again before going on to the established one. On clicking the door, I went to a blank screen with the ESO ouroboros spinning in the lower right corner. I stayed here for about four or five minutes (letting the music play out) before cntrl-alt-deleting out of the fullscreen. It never crashed or kicked me. Anyway, back to the established character.

I finished the Main Storyline Quest today and enjoyed it. I did it over a few days and didn't have any issues with the quest itself. I did notice though that sometimes while the characters were speaking to me ( ie: Lyris) their mouths didn't move and neither did they - but it wasn't consistent just the odd time. They would just stare off in a different direction but the dialogue continued and it didn't prevent me from moving to the next stage at all.

I'm a little disappointed. I think we spent wayyyyyy wayyyyyy wayyyyyyy too much on the Harrowstorms.
Honestly after the two dungeons and the prologue quests, the harrowstorm thing wasn't a mystery to me so I was rather surprised when it was brought back as a mystery in the questline.
Then it being the main part of the story 6 questlines later, I found myself being rather bored and disappointed. I was hoping for way more mystery that what I got.
I was hoping for a questline that was like a book with pager turners. I was sort of expecting to meet a lot of different Vampires, but we hardly even met the main guy. I understand he'll be coming back but still.

I love Svana, but she's sort of the same character from Elsweyr :( I was hoping for a little more involvement with myself as a vampire, not just one dialogue option once.
I was expecting more involvement from other Vampire clans - sort of fighting I guess is what I thought would be happening?

And yes even just a slight reference to Harkon, even him just being busy searching for something would have been enough. I also thought there would be way more than 7 questlines to complete. Also there was a thing about Molag Bal and how the main vamp guy didn't like him - wasn't explained - but then in the Chapel there is a desecrated shrine to Arkay and a set up one to Molag Bal in its place - which was then confusing.
Is Molag Bal around? Is he part of the story? Also there really wasn't any talk about bloodlines outside of the Harrowfiends.

One thing I really did like was sort of how it explained why Karthold doesn't really exist in 4e 201 Skyrim by destroying the entire hold and its leader lool.

I totally agree. Lorewise those holds should belong to Western Skyrim. Although thy are not present we need some background.

Dungeons' part in Harrowstorms pretty much one-sided (evil richmen duh) as was prologue quest, while in West's MQ we are discovering their true purpose. Which is not "make everyone a vampire" how it might have seem to someone who didn't do MQ but say finished Rivenspire storyline (or did not). It's important and while I can feel your frustration this information needed to be presented. Yeah, not much action with this, but it doesn't have to be the end of the world all the time.
Pretty much, you can't expect a full story with current storytelling model in one part of it. I expect backstory stuff in Q4 just before Epilogue.

As for the latter. MQ now encourages you to touch side quests along the way. Entire side-quest for Greymoore castle involves importance of bloodlines. In general you can pull a lot of info you want from this one.
Harkon should stay as it is imo, he doesn't seem like talkative type (his fam too) for everyone to know he's up to something.

Also here to report that friend had problems with Fenn's rescue, release button wasn't active. He had to reset the whole quest.

Was just coming to see if that was a known bug, as I have the same. A quest pointer going nowhere and a lever that does nothing.

Based on the fact that other people have completed the whole questline though, I guess this is not a persistent bug.
