social ban for friends ,why?

Hello, posting for some friends since they cant access the forums and have gotten a social ban for reasons they are not sure of...They are a husband and wife who own and sub 3 accounts and have no idea what triggered the ban but are happy to not do it again...They submitted tickets but were confused by the categories so are not sure if it is going to the right place. They are good people who play daily and have for years...any help we could get would be most appreciated!

Given the current state of CS, I wonder if maybe ZOS should stop with this social ban thing, or make it auto reset at midnight if they absolutely MUST ban people. Seems like they are making busy work for themselves, then blaming COVID for the delay in addressing things.

Well, there has to be a mechanism in place for the more sinister spamming, @Elsonso ... which is different from the mass mailings that the guild leaders/officers accomplish.

These tickets were opened successfully. Your friends will get a response however it may be delayed due to the high volume support is experiencing.

I can understand that, but I don't think this system is performing properly. It looks, from here, like it is causing grief to players not doing sinister spamming, and adding to the CS load to deal with that. Right now, they don't need that. See above "delayed due to the high volume support is experiencing". If this sort of thing is just adding to that, for no other reason than some CS person as to press the "unban" button, then that is a shame.
