Worthless Profanity Filter

I'm on xbox and the only text option is HUD chat display on or off.

So it's an all or nothing.(Unless I'm missing something somewhere in the options)

Profanity filters have always been worthless. And OP says it's filtering random languages in english, but it also filters english profanity in other languages, making it worthless for everyone, everywhen. Yes, I know, everywhen isn't a real word, but it is now.

Exemple: the french word for "shower" is the english word for that small apparatus sometimes used by ladies to wash their private parts. I can't even post it here because it would get censored anyway, but it often comes as "<name of the apparatus>-bag" too, an insult meant to say this person is basically scum.

So, if you play in french and want to tell your friends you're gonna take a shower and then be right back, you'll get censored. Even though the word is perfectly valid and non insulting in french.

And then, well, you have all the idiots who fail to understand that the filter is on their side, and that everyone who shut it off can see what they write normally, and spell things weirdly to bypass it.

Stupid indeed. They flag the game as pegi 18. But the profanity filter is set for pegi 12 where it say "any bad language in this category must be mild".

If anything it should be disabled by default.
