It struck me funny because I am used to getting them when speedily riding somewhere, but def not while standing still!

That is exactly what happened to me the last time I was in Craglorn. Standing still near a wayshrine and flash flash flash flash and that was all she wrote. Haven't gone back to Craglorn since. I have a ton of surveys to do there and just... can't.

It's unbarable when exiting CoH 1 after the last bosses the way leading to the exit, 5 times in a row.

This has been a major issue for over a month, why is someone not making a public statement sooner?
We going to get anything to fix the lag in the 2 cp 30days anytime soon. Its gotten a lot worse to the point single target skills/buffs can't be reliably used during peak hours.

This morning's patch had no effect on the problem. I still had numerous flashes of the loading screen in Cyrodiil this AM. One would think that a bug that is this old and this disruptive would have gotten more attention from the developers.

Look, they just BARELY acknowledged the problem on here a few days ago. That isn't nearly enough time for them to have written code to fix said problem, test it, test it some more, and then implement it along with all the other stuff they're doing. And if you would LOOK AT THE PATCH NOTES FOR TODAY... you would see that isn't in the list. There is no need for upset when it wasn't even on the schedule for today.

The problem has been reported for at least 3 months. That is more than ample time for it to have been fixed.

Fix didn't mske it into this patch, it would've been listed in the patch notes.
Hope it's in the next patch since it's a very annoying bug.

This problem has been reported since before the pandemic. It's not unreasonable to wonder why the complaints and tickets are ignored for months and months.

It seems obvious that the bug is in the game software and has nothing to do with our hardware.
My GPU is NVIDIA.

Loading screen flash in Rimmen doing writs. I notice a lot happen right at the writ board or between it and the woodworker bench.

Discussion is about loading screens, gentlemen, not your video cards or software. Keep on point, this is the Bug forum, not General. Don't lose focus. Let's get this fixed!

Ooo! New spot! Right outside the gates of Daggerfall today! FPS at 100, ping at 40.

Went into Craglorn today to dig up treasure. Hit with 8 random load screens between the wayshrine and the treasure location.

The textures in surrounding area were flickering too. The location is between valley of scars wayshrine & the howling sepulchers.

Same thing for me today, I was trying to get an antiquity in craglorn and got like 20 loading screens including WHILE I was trying to scry, resulting in the game spamming me with "are you sure you want to stop scrying" messages... And when running, I could see the sky flashing in black, so clearly a loading problem that happens absolutely nowhere else in the game for me. Not even in cyro, where loading screens are less spammy than that and not associated with black sky textures.

Even so, generally it takes time to hunt down bugs in code and test new stuff on servers. While ZoS mentioned in an earlier post on this thread that they are aware of the problem, changes in all of the above will probably take longer than one single update. Such is the life of an MMORPG. Don't give up hope.

Let's not let this devolve into a discussion either. This thread is for reporting the instances wherein your loadscreens occur. Please stay focused on the goal here.

We did get an update today, but I still got several loading screens while riding from Fort Dragonclaw to Winter’s Peak Outpost today.

Nah they mean the big update, Update 27, that will come out who knows when. The patch notes for the last patch on PS4 did say something about a fix to prevent some random loading screens from occurring so I was hopeful.

Still a problem for me too, both in Craglorn in the north and northern part of Cyrodiil.
