There are so many bugs and issues now. From skills not fireing to actions like block not working. Combat is wonky and unreliable, dungeons have mechanics that do not work as intended, loading screens are still an issue as well as porting, PvP is busted, even doing things at your house you can run into bugs.

Im not subbing until we can play the game without being frustrated about how it runs, and is managed.

I maintain an ESO+ subscription, but honestly, if the trajectory of lousy performance, uninspired new content, and combat disruptions by overzealous devs doesn't flatten out, I'm done.

I prefer to play in Cyrodiil and I am not happy that patches seem to always make the gameplay/performance worse. I'm not happy that new classes are always overpowered compared to the original classes. The frequent combat and skill changes meaning I have to l2p over and over. I spend money for the subscription and the chapters and, currently, I'm unsure about spending money in the future. There are plenty of other things for me to do in teh game (other than Cyrodiil) and I've become a really good flower-picker. :/ Not that my input, time, or money matters to this wealthy company. *shrugs

Heh Jump you are forgetting that this game has an Extreme amount of general PvE quests and general content (Crafting, Achievement chasing, etc) that can occupy a lot of ppls gametime.
Majority of this content is unaffected by current issues.

They continue to do what they do while we bang our heads in frustration...lol

I'm banging MY head in frustration because even when I quest, even if its just a glitch that lasts 1 second I'm reminded of why I cant PvP for more than an hour before giving up. Makes me not want to play the game at all. And I for one like PvE, though I LOVE PvP. its VERY frustrating

Yes, i spend money on this game, no, it's pretty uncool atm, but it'll change. The price you pay for evolution, sometimes it doesn't turn out right (like humanity). But it'll steady over time in good and bad.

For those of you who want a static, perfect, never-changing(/dead) game, just leave and find your happeh :)

I CANNOT spend money on this game now in good conscious....The game is broken and unless I get a good sense that ZOS intends to fix it, The Bank of Jumpy IS CLOSED. Cancelled my sub and aint re-upping. Got Greymoor refunded. Dont care about the new chapter, vampires Skyrim , NOTHING.

    Currently Subscribing.

Struggling to get enthused about the forthcoming chapter due to the somewhat predictable content it will contain.

Was looking forward to the antiquities when they were announced. I assumed it would take the form of some tough relic hunting like Wrothgar, but looks more like some sort of instant gratification mini game. No doubt it will have to be done though, as the PvP related items that drop from it are bound to be OP initially to generate interest.

The PvE is in a generally decent state, but I don't see the forthcoming chapter holding any great surprises. The long term future of PvP is my real concern as it is the endgame as far as I'm concerned.

Sub cancel in 30day, no plan to re-sub yet.
Instead of next chapter I've buy New World for the same price despite the fact I really want to explore Skyrim again.
I don't plan to stop TESO, but will not put any money in it until all bug, perf and combat change are done.

I've a world new game to explore so, I can wait.
And if thing never change or get worse (it is possible ?) I'll just stop and go away.

Nope, the Iceheart nerf was the final straw. Nerfing a helm that helped people, solely to make their new helm look more attractive, demonstrated they don't care about the players, especially those who may struggle due to inexperience or disability..

Remember that huge update that took some people near a week to complete that was going to improve performance? I used that update to determine if I would resub or not...and we all know how that update went: better performance, but crashing, then rolling back performance to a worse state than the patch before to fix the crashing.

Then there are the balance changes, but even that is forgivable; the performance is not. Something like ESO+ not working properly for a week is not either; no one is going to pay for a product they can't use.

I can't justify spending money after that, because I play far less.

I'm curious. Since you don't PvP or group up, (so, I'm guessing, NO trials and FEW vet dungeons-no DLC vet dungeons at any rate). What exactly do you do in game? I'm straight up curious.

Exploring Tamriel - enjoying the scenery, i like as well crafting and socializing with people - not in a combat environment, but actually chatting with them about mostly stuff what isn't game related. When i say I have no interest into group content, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't play together with a friend or two once in a while, I just do not participate in groups with random players. And a friend is for me someone I know well enough - not a random person requesting friendship by no reason.

I have as well no huge interest to level up quickly - normal pve content can be done at any level so leveling up is just decreasing my resource pool because the bonus gets less and less. There is just no feeling of progression with leveling up, so I am not in an hurry to level up. I am not using add-ons, so I have to find sky shards and lore books and so, which means I have to look around a bit longer than most to find those. combat is ok, but it is not something I desire to do by no reason. And I like to play slow paced - most people have no time or patience for that, this is as well a reason for me not to group up.

On PTS I could check out what it is like to be level 50 with CP - didn't convince me - I'm far better off like I am now, no desire to ever reach level 50 with any of my characters, I rather add a new character then. And that content you are talking about is just not for me - I don't like the flashiness of it and those oversized bosses as well - others may like it, I don't. No desire to ever do those at all.I rather do a hike through Tamriel's nature at walking speed and enjoy what I see around me. i like hiking through nature as well in real life - just me (and eventually my partner) and nature - for a couple of days - no phone, no distraction, just nature and me (us).

I know, this might sound abstruse and alien to you - but that is how i play the game.

I have been ESO + from the beginning. I started in February 2014.

I play at least 10 minutes everyday. I sometimes manage to play 2 to 4 hours, if I get up early, before it looks bad.
Because I have such a high ping that I can't play as much as I would like. I get disconnected and then I can't log in anymore.

I keep paying because the only things I can still do are crafts and housing and I need ESO + benefits for that.

And I'm also addicted since I played Oblivion!

I'm really a TESO addict, to keep paying for such a frustrating game!

    It is a real disease!

I know, this might sound abstruse and alien to you - but that is how i play the game.

I’m going slow by most people’s standards as well but I’m careful to play pretty much all of the content I come across during the game as I’m exploring so long as it’s not too out of the way. I talk to all of the people before the each quest and after because often their dialogue changes and it gives those little quirky stories a sense of closure beyond the thank you and small rewards. Some of those little missions affect the final zone story outcomes as well with more people to speak with afterwards if you helped them along your journey.

So far I’m still playing my first faction but I will play each faction at least one time to see the game from another perspective At least through their storyline. The dialogues I’m sure will be different as well considering where and when you meet certain folks in the game and which race/alliance you play. Most people are speed running everything and probably have no idea what 90% of the story is. I don’t just read, I also listen. The voice actors got paid for their craft so take a moment and appreciate their craft even if sometimes the accent changes mid dialogue or they pronounce the same word two different ways in the same sentence.

I’m also exploring and taking screen shots of some things that interest me to share with my friends. I think I’ve been on my horse a grand total of a dozen times. The map is vast and packed full of quirky stuff if you look in every corner to behind every tree. Bethesda packs all kinds of nuggets and pop culture and fantasy references into their games, but you’ll miss them if you aren’t looking.

The overland combat fits mostly within the story and completing certain elements of it will give you a different cell as you move about the map. Liberate a town or some of the shrines and you’ll have a different experience than had you run and gun through there on your way to the next boss fight. These decisions impact the game and the arc of the story. Most pieces fit with the whole, but some can occur out of context if you go full open world exploring, so I recommend following the story loosely so you don’t get overly sidetracked and uncover unintentional spoilers for content to come later.

I still get in on the boss fights and dolemans when they pop up near me. I imagine I’ll do the same with dungeons eventually. Thieves guild and dark brotherhood quests are nice for a distraction and depending on my mood sometimes they fit with what how I want to play that particular day. Sometimes I’ll go days without touching their content too just depends on my mood.

They have created an MMO that also has content for the solo players like me. And I mean lots of content so may as well play that as well and explore the depth of what the game has to offer.

Yeah the english voice acting is fabulous - there are some where I listen to with every character just to hear it again. But there are as well a few, where I really consider to use the blade of woe, because they are just annoying - like in Southern Elsweyr, when I leave lucky cat landing heading to the wayshrine - a man and a woman talking about having seen Sai Sahan, that woman's voice is incredibly annoying and she is so foul-mouthed as well.

I have to admit that I am picking story content from here and there - not really following a guideline with it. i go after the experience my characters made and sometimes they are not in the mood to help someone by certain reasons. I decide that from their perspective.

For sure some NPC approach me in a way that I don’t like and I ignore them completely. I’m leaning to pick and choose and have found some of these “urgent” NPC quests have to most meandering stories and I find myself asking what am I doing here again? The completionist in me won’t abandon the quest though, no matter how menial the task.
