I thought vampires have decreased ability costs? I missed that part.
I don’t know, I was thinking magtemplar or MagWarden but it’s too early to say. Without play testing it’s all guesswork. My hunch is MagWarden would be the best.
MagWarden is moreso aoe spammy and shimmering shield protects from ranged (sorcs) so is good. Enough self healing and tankiness to get away with no defensive set.
Magtemplar has way better burst but is nowhere near as tanky, you have to build for tankiness.
I’d choose based on which playstyle you like best.
Outside chance of magsorc. That vampire ultimate boosts mag max and streak plus invis could be fun. Issue with magsorc is bars are already crowded so it’ll be hard to use the new toys.

Yeah i think I’m leaning more towards magplar compared to magden, I feel like that may be more fun to play. Have you played as a magcro?

You got much more power on magcro or magsorc then magblade. I would say magsorc is a right class, their burst is quite good. Even now, sorcs are better gankers then blades

Are magcro only good group pvp? Or are the also really good for solo

Magcro in PvP are pretty hard and I would say, shine only in group play. It is fun class but not the most powerful. For PvP, magplars or magsorcs are a go to class. When you look at class versatility, magsorc is the winner. Best chance that after the potential nerfs they still gonna be good

Dang that’s a bummer, I’m tied up on magcro and magplar for a straight up vamp build but I’m worried bc I solo mostly In pvp and I would and as you said magcro May be too hard. And magplar looks fun to play but I can’t lie the aesthetics are actually bothering me for a vampire class, the shiny golden abilities are the complete opposite of an undead creature of the night so this is quite a hard choice but o do know it’s between those two

Well vamp might work well with necros as they lack mobility and vamps looks like a very mobile gameplay

If you are good, you might kill potatoes with ease but problem is against competent players. My advice, wait for next PTS to see aby class changes.

What makes magcro harder? Is it bc it’s like aoe based or bc it lacks single target damage? Or something else?

Vampire skills have decreased ability costs.
The new cost increase is for non-vampire skills.
