Confusing/erroneous post(s) on the Jester's Festival?

The post from 2020/03/26 (https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/57851) is confusing.

A quest for a "new Jubilee Cake 2020 memento" is described, using the quest starter available in the crown store. I attempt to purchase this quest starter, and am informed that I have already completed the quest. Eating this unavailable cake memento is supposed to award a 100% XP buff and 3 event tickets. Instead, I receive 3 event tickets by completing a daily quest from one of the Jester monarchs. Participating in various actions is documented as rewarding an additional 2 event tickets; one of these documented actions is killing a delve boss, but this awards no event tickets; apparently only 3 tickets per day are available. Various daily quests, including daily crafting writs, are supposed to award "Jubilee Boxes", but daily crafting writs award no "Jubilee Boxes". The Impresario is described as offering "Jephrine Paladin Outfit Style pages" for purchase; these items are not in evidence at the Impresario.

In contrast, the post from 2020/03/19 (https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/57835) appears to be much more accurate. No mention of a cake memento, the player is awarded a "Pie of Misrule" memento, which awards no event tickets but does award a 100% XP buff, the quest starter is to guide you to the Jester monarch pavilions in the 3 faction zones (where the monarch quests are available), the first Jester monarch quest completed each day awards 3 event tickets (explicitly stated), there is no mention of extra event tickets, no mention of "Jubilee Boxes", no mention of bogus Impresario items, and etc.

As I say, this is confusing. I am ignoring the 2020/03/26 post.

    The first paragraph:
ESO’s six-year Anniversary Jubilee in-game event begins Thursday, April 2 at 10:00AM EDT, and runs until Tuesday, April 14 at 10:00AM EDT. To join the celebration, select the free Jubilee Cake Voucher quest starter from the Crown Store (listed under Quest Starters) to find the world-famous Chef Donolon.
The Three Storm Sharks, episode 8 released on january the 8th.
One mer to rule them all,
    one mer to find them,
One mer to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them.

I think you're mixing the Jester's Festival and the Anniversary Jubilee Event up, OP. Starting today until April 2nd is the Jester's Festival (which your second paragraph refers to), and then from April 2nd to April 14th, I believe, we have the Jubilee Event, which the first paragraph is about. Both will happen back to back this year it seems.

I did the same thing as OP. With the one festival starting today for Jester and the Anniversery event article coming out same time I got them mixed up. Actually came to forum to see if there was some change because the dates didn't match the article. Took you guys pointing it out for me to notice lol

Yeah, completely looked past that. I was confused by the "continuous" nature of the 2 events... one of which ends on April 2, the other one of which begins on April 2. It looked like the same event, for some reason. Thanks for the clarification.

Stacking them back-to-back like this... I guess to get us to play? Will they end up just making them "continuous", in earnest? There is enough DLC and expansion content, doing retrospectives on an annual basis, they could run a lot more of them than they actually do. Get those endless indrik reskins...

Now you're going outside your lane into patronizing speculation, @Aca2017.

These two events just happen to be consecutive this year ... there aren't enough events to keep them going back to back indefinitely (unless ZOS changes dates -- not likely).
