@Saucy_Jack I would like to draw your attention to this
pretty much every single time the raid instance gets bugged and reaches enormous latency for some reason. telegraphs appear several second after the boss does the animation etc. It has nothing to do with ppl being at home because of the Corona virus crysis. It is like this from day one of Harrowstorm release.

Again, I'm not trying to white knight here; I'm just saying that it's in the dev tracker, they've acknowledged the problems, they've attempted fixes and are going to attempt more. So while it's unpleasant that certain aspects of the game are in rough shape right now, there's a difference between making threads stating that there are problems and making threads stating that ESO is about to die completely.

One thing I always do when I log on is go to the guild rosters of my 5 guilds and see what folks are doing. It gives me insight to any events I didn't hear about or really just to know where the action is.

So 3 of the guilds are maxed out with 500 members and I normally see 200-300 players on during prime time.

Over the past few weeks and last night the numbers were below 100. I watched the roster on my most active guild that is always buzzing in guild chat with so many conversations it's hard to keep track. Crickets. The players were mostly in known crafting zones and a few in dungeons.

Even me. I craft in Vivec city and most of the time there is so much confusion with duels and people casting. Dancing on the wood piles. It was a ghost town last night, AND my ping was still 600+

I have been loading up some games I bought and never played and it is so plesant to just play and not be constantly distracted by a huge lag spike or desync.

I hope it gets worked out because I really was enjoying the game.

Performance has been bad for a long time. People continue to blame players, add ons, PCs, Consoles, modem/router, or whatever they can to let ZOS off the hook. If that’s the case, then why do other mmos run smoothly the majority of the time for me and others?

Take a visit to any other major mmo forum and actively seek out threads that complain about how abysmal that games performance is. I’d be willing to bet the number of topics and comments don’t come close to what ESO receives.

oh so now we are blaming eso's bad performance on the corona virus? Then why console performance has been just as bad a two months before everyone was panicking. ESO in PC started acting the same as console after update 25, it has nothing to with the virus and everyone sheltering and playing eso more. Thats a bunch of nonesense and such a cop-out.

It's just kinda hard to put the decreased performance down to extra server load when the Cyrodiil campaigns are all very low population at the moment.

Yep, went to the CP Locked and no-CP ones on Saturday and Sunday evening and it was basically no queue. Also performance wasn't terrible, I didn't have disconnects or crashes though some skills, especially channels, seemed to be a bit sticky. But in 4 years I've seen far worse than this.
