Troll tanks are effective. They could be ignored without consequence, but scores of pugs take the bait. It’s infuriating to see 20 or more players in your faction lose a fight because they got tunnel vision for the immovable tank and lost sight of the objective. Like moths to a flame people pile on the tanky opponent and don’t care (or even realize) that the flags are flipping. Or that a Zerg is coming from behind. Or that their gate keeps are under attack.
It’s a play style that has a place in Cyrodiil, just like bombers, gankers, ball groups, and siege monkeys.

So a good advice for everybody - if you meet a character that 3 or 4 players can't kill, just forget it and focus on the main target.

I've used a almost identical build (but with Cyro crest+battalion) and regular tripots.
Never thought of using Hist sap and hindrance potions tho, will have to try when the servers are back up.
Edit: Want to try it on a necro tank aswell. You won't bave battleroar but you have the health-absorbing goliath transformation ^^
I used use hist sap and hindrance potions in the past, because... You can make hindrance, restore health, lingering health potion Before lingering nerf it was over 2k free HPS with 100% uptime
Now it's still potent but not as much
Tank builds like this have one practical usage. BG capture games (relic, chaos ball, etc.). Maybe this one in particular is not the best example as it would be good to move a bit, but you know what I mean - in BGS the only game type that requires kills to win is death match, rest is optimal for tank/healer teams.
Hist sap with hindrance pots and lingering health used to be good but a new change to the set that is not mentioned is that immovable procs hist sap, making it possible to make use of the new armor pots. Also if i want to be able to move, which might be better in some cases i can change out battalion defender with ironblood and immovable skill with hardened armor. It all depends on the situation really. Some builds work better than other in some cases but not in all scenarios.

Ive survived a ball group trying to ult dump me with full harmony, colossus ult and nova. Im mostly playing solo so i dont rely on anyone healing me other than myself

I saw the video, the attacks you got were quite weak with lots of light attacks and some random ults. Do you actual kill anything?

Sorry to disappoint you, but its almost impossible to make a build that can survive 10 people while still beeing able to kill them. I used to have a build that could kill people by changing cp up a bit giving sloghtly more damage and running maelstrom 2h with crit charge and dizzy swing while spell wall was up. But i was only able to kill the squishy bowblades.
If you want to be able to kill people you can try to make a light armor tank on magdk, blobs has one he made with some help from me that can survive 5-8 guys while still dealing enough damage to kill them.

When I try it just dodge rolls

Im playing on pc, i walk with WASD and jump with SPACE and block with right mousebutton
how do you sustain on that build? basically u have two hot builds with the ult proc one. Is Meditate enough just by itself to survive the time between your ult casts to regain resources? and i suppose this is viable only for CP pvp? could you tank 3 decent people in BGs with this?
Also, yes you will be able to tank 3 decent people in bg with this build, but its a bit harder to sustain since i have 100 points in reduce block cost in cp

I like your build because you found some clever ways to become so resistant. However, how about your dps, can you kill anything? I noticed you have sword and shield on both bars... so there is no ranged attack.
Also, is it possible to have this build on a templar? I would like to know how you would adapt it for a templar.
Thanks!
