At this point with ZOS I was prepared for the worst. I don't see any improvements but at least it didn't get worse I guess?

I love it.

Given the audience on the forums tends to be the vocal PvP a lot of hate will fall down on the poll, but the overall changes were great they will need time to time down the bugs tho

It (the reload thing) gave me excuse to do full unistall and take a break until performance fixes are completed.

I've perused these sorts of discussions including ones with my own guilds. One thing that seems to stick out fairly regularly: if you knew how to ani cancel, you hate the update.
if you didnt know how or never cared, then the update is pretty good minus the lag and skill delay "which any new update always has issues directly after"
That may be over simplifying things? But so far when pressed to answer why specifically, I almost never see anyone address this as a positive. I will say I don't think i've ever seen so many warlords and high rank/full time PvPers in overland doing Elsweyr dragons ect in my all my years in ESO. Feels...telling to me. So I hate it because it feels more and more as if they're pushing this to be like WoW and combat is the slowest its ever been...and that seems by design rather than by lag. And that's troubling to me if I want to do not only PvP but also any competitive PvE content as well.

I hate it.

As console player prior to the patch I rarely had issues with bar swapping or abilities not working. I know others had issue with these but I didn't. Since the patch my abilities rarely go off and I have to hit the button 2-5x before they do go off, either resulting in a wipe when I play a support role or my damage drops dramatically as a DD.

I hate it.

The skill delay has made cyro unplayable. Although some of the loading screen issues have been improved and ignoring the crashing during the first week, the skill delay, lag, whatever you want to call it introduced with this patch has ruined most experiences for me. Even battlegrounds don't play the same and there's only max 12 people involved.

I've also noticed some weird issues with asset loading. Specifically, npc's not loading in for minutes after entering some towns and occasionally players or mobs not loading in immediately when entering your view from behind.

New dungeons are pretty cool though.

Overall I prefered the issues we had before the patch. At least then cyro was playable outside of prime time. Kind fo just wish they'd added the new dungeons and waited to implement their "performance improvements" until after they were properly tested. Feels like we're playing a beta again

I hate it.

Playing on PC EU, I hate the last patch. Not only did it create ability lag/delays, but it also causes my GPU's to run at 15-20 degrees hotter than normal. I was able to trace this back to the water effects in-game, so put water effects on low in the settings. And mostly avoid water ofcourse. In the older zones this was barely noticable, but in southern elsweyr near water(even in the southern delve) my GPU starts running massively overtaxed. When it always ran fine. Even with lower water settings, this barely helps.

Before this patch my GPU's both ran at a steady 60 degrees Celcius playing on 4k(both pc's, even under load), this is the temp my GPU kicks in it's fans to cool it. This is happening on two pc's, one with a 2080 ti gaming x trio, and one with a 1080 ti gaming x trio.

So I do not know what changed exactly in this patch, but I do know I have way less performance than I had. Even with lowered settings, my GPU temp shoots up like 10 degrees.

Would love it if they fixed this, asap.

PS: The GPU issues started with the small patch after the major update, after the major update itself, this was fine. The global lag and ability delay, started with the major patch though. (just to clarify)

I wanna say I love it cause it has got me to play other games and reduce the time I play ESO by 90% at least. Having a good time in EFT and GTA

The game was in German and had to change Xbox system settings to play it. Enough said.

I went to Cyrodiil this morning on the EU server and had no problems. Of course I was way outside prime time, 2 am pdt. I will try to get in on NA tonight to see if there are noticeable changes for me.

I haven’t noticed much of a difference performance wise. Players are still showing as black silhouettes, still getting long load screens and “this may take longer” messages, still having frame drops, usually while mounted, still having bar swap issues and still getting stuck running in place on my nightblade while using 2H weapons.

What I have noticed are invisible walls in Wrothgar, a dolman in Deshaan with no enemy spawns, a couple of enemy encounters in UHG dungeon where the enemies vanish after a couple hits and a buggy boss.

Cyrodiil is a laggy mess. Nothing new you might say, but something has changed this patch. I cannot swap bars, fire off abilities fluidly at all. Combat just feels sluggish and unresponsive.

I love the new dungeons, i hope future dlc dungeons are simmalar or maby a tad more difficult, but overall great. The rest is a total debacle. Other then freeing up some space on my pc nothing has changed preformance wise and the MMR reset for bgs seems to have made things worse for both queing and quality of matches. Oh and the fix one bug find 7 more trend but thats just par for the course at this point

Cyrodiil is now absolutely unplayable in primetime (which is the only time I can play), and Cyro was pretty much the only thing keeping me playing ESO.

Even if I wanted to PvE (and I don't), it's not an option because PvE is also laggy AF after U25.

I have taken a break and canceled my sub to the game. Really didn't see much improvement other than early during day when kids are in school.

But logins have taken longer no matter what time a day and that is from my 9 characters sending me items. It also takes twice as long sitting there waiting for the crafting mail to hit the character.

After the first week of disconnecting every 15min in Cyrodiil, I really haven't noticed any changes. It really seems about the same. Not great, but not horrible, either.

The performance patch didn’t improve performance. It was the same in pve and worse in pvp. Then the patch for the performance patch at least got rid of the ctd every 10 minutes but I still have the bad taste in my mouth from expectations and reassurances that came before the so called performance patch. I noticed changes but I don’t hate or love them.

Lag, delay, load screens, skills not firing and block not firing. This patch feels like playing with your fingers tied together constantly fighting against something to accomplish what should be easy.

The two new dungeons are both good. I'm not having issues with bar swap or casting ultimates while playing the new content (Icereach and Unhallowed Grave). The extra space on my PS4 drive is also good. I'm not hearing any complaints about the game in guild chat or discord of the three guilds I belong to.

My performance actually tanked this patch. It was decent enough for me previously, but I'm struggling now. I once stood still and tried pressing my ulti for 20 full seconds once until it finally went off. 20 seconds. Did nothing else except try to use my ultimate. that's ridiculous. I'm experiencing more lag and desyncs, bar swapping has gotten worse, and half the time, even outside of cyro, my skills don't want to work.

But Unhallowed Grave is pretty fun. I like the grappling hook mechanic. I hope that gets brought back more in Greymoor.

So I came here to see if it's just me or what. Seems I'm not alone.
I get the permablock bug that I never knew existed until this patch. My ping is constantly in the 200-300+ range where it rarely ever exceeded 100 before. I hit a skill and it doesn't fire unless I hit it two or three times. I turned off all add-ons and it is exactly the same.

If some are having issues and some aren't then someone needs to look into why.

For now I just get the daily reward and do the writs (with the add-on it is very noticable how much lag I have).

I unsubbed a while back because of the massive changes to skills and no clear plan. I will not resub until things get better for me. So if ZOS wants my money they better look into these performance issues otherwise it stays in my wallet.

XBOX/NA - I really haven't noticed any performance differences. What I have noticed is that chat fills up with NPC dialog. No one I have talked to has figured out how to turn it off. The down side is that I have to scroll around to read chat from actual players. The upside, I can finally find out what my Grevious Leeching Ward Shield has been saying all this time as it has always been hard to hear.

back in the day if you uninstalled Bethesda game it would uninstall your O.S. now I heard they did the same with fallout 76 on console, so I wouldn't doubt it. make sure to follow PS4 guide on updating your OS.
