Shadowfen. The story isn’t compelling, I don’t care about the characters, and the terrain is annoying. I hand done a single quest since 1T came out and opened the map.

To each their own, I guess. I had an almost visceral reaction to Shadowfen from the get go, and Murkmire is similar. Apparently others had the same reaction. One of the better things about ESO is that there is so much diversity in geography and ambience. Also, zone design has improved over time IMO, though at the cost of smaller, quickly exhaustible zones. I remember being impressed at the detailed terrain in Gold Coast, yet a few months later I took a 2-year break from ESO because I felt I had nothing to do.

Stonefalls. The main questline there annoys the hell out of me as it is based entirely upon people being utterly stupid, there are so many incredibly gross racist NPCs, there are slave owners, I'm constantly reminded that people eat gigantic slimy bug eggs, and then the icing on the poo cake, zone chat, which is *always* disgusting in some form or another. I never spend time in Stonefalls that I'm not ready to just kick Earth into the sun and be done with it.

All of Valenwood except Greenshade + Reaper’s March + Shadowfen (haven’t played through there yet, but it sounds like I’ll hate it).

Reapers March is divided in two, and if you want to go across from East to West you’ll have to either way shrine or go all the way south and pass through Rawl’kha.

Valenwood (except GS): Grahtwood was a mess on trying to follow the storyline, Malabal Tor (for reasons people have mentioned before).

Stonefalls is pretty annoying too.

Annoying, especially as a casual player. I was trying to get across with one of my toons quickly, didn't have much time and needing to go to work. I remember. Lol

Same. But I also love the aesthetics of swamps and deserts in games, movies etc (As long as I don't have to personally be in them). To me Shadowfen and Murkmire are beautiful in their own way, and I even want more Black March zones. Extra swampy, thank you!

What I barely can stand though is Coldharbour. Questing and doing anything in that zone feels like the worst of chores. Which I suppose is quite fitting for what it is, but I still haven't managed do it on a second character.

Hew's Bane: Although the thieves quests are a welcome change to your daily routine, I find it really hard to navigate. And especially if you have to look for characters on rooftops.

I hate Shadowfen and Murkmire. I’d just rather not go there.

Doing these Dark Brotherhood kill contracts keep sending me to Daggerfall. It’s getting kind of tedious.

Murkmire, not because it's a swamp (I love Shadowfen) but because I can hardly find any nodes to pick in between one quest point and the next. It just feels to sparse when compared to other zones.

None. Its juts that it became so easy to do quests. Best is to quest 1st person, gamepad and unarmed.

Pretty much anywhere because I'm not a big regular "quester". If I had to choose I would have to say Stonefalls because it's a bear to navigate in most areas.

Village of the Lost actually has quite an obvious pattern if you are following the quests. I've done it on all my characters.

Shadowfen and Murkmire because of Argonians. I usually just go and grab the skyshards... and to kill some Argonians along the way.
Another zone I tend to avoid completely is Coldharbor. Did it once, I'm never gonna do it again.

Anywhere with giant chasms and cliffs that force my new character with few passives and slow mount speed to travel way further than is necessary. Build some freaking ladders please.

The caveat here is that I really didn’t care when I was new to the game (which was when the game was new lol). It’s fatigue from years of navigating these zones that really makes me hate it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Stormhaven. I love how many crafting nodes there are, I hate that said nodes double the time it takes me to do any sort of task there.

Vardenfell. It has the twin flaws of being unfun to navigate and being inhabited by a race that, with their pompous hubris, seems bound and determined to make my Bosmer hate them.
