So, last year I loved the event... the 5 weeks of it with each week requiring something different with the final week being a free choice (and I love that kind of freedom!!) was AWESOME... I think there is an opportunity in those 5 weeks to really do something that PVE fans would appreciate too though...
THE GOLDEN GOLDEN!! During Midyear Mayhem all the PVP sets go up (first week necklaces, second week rings) - and this is something that the PVP and PVE crowd alike do enjoy... however, PVE gold jewelry has never been given this same treatment.... I understand there are a LOT of sets out there too for PVE (both overland and dungeon). But could they bit split up as thus...
Week 1: Overland Necklaces
Week 2: Dungeon Necklaces
Week 3: Overland Rings
Week 4: Dungeon Rings
Week 5: Trial Jewelry (non-perfected of course)
I think it would really invoke so many to go on the hunt for gold and AP like never before!!! Or even, maybe make it so gold jewelry can drop in vet dungeons just like it does in the vet trials!! There are so many sets that just never seem to turn up at the Golden. It's always the same old ones on repeat... I just think it would be really good times and generate a major buzz around the community again... and I know... I know... there will be the inevitable whiners and complainers about wanting something for nothing (even though grinding for gold/AP is still working for it, and not getting it for nothing) but they will undoubtedly be in the minority
