You may say that she is kinda like Darien, but imagine Darien was forgotten and never appeard again...

As far as I'm concerned, Darien is silly and stupid, and a plague on this game. I don't EVER want to see him again. It annoys me no end that he's ALWAYS THERE in the DC quest lines - because I LOVE my DC characters, but I do not ever want to do the quest lines because of Darien.

While not fine literature, I thought Darien's character was interesting as we learned about him as we went along the faction story. Originally, we weren't supposed to go to Coldharbour until finishing our first faction quests. And by that time you understood that he actually felt compassion for others. Then he goes with everyone to fight Molag Bal, and you learn that he dreamed of that confrontation. And then he disappeared.

That said, his story is over as far as I'm concerned. No need to mess with a good (enough) story.
Have you done Summerset's main quest? If not, they actually did a pretty good job continuing his story, and if so, then you already know about that stuff haha.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends
Celeroth Calatare: Bosmer <insert role here> - Shapeshifting Bosmer with enough sass to fill Valenwood

    PC - NA - EP - CP1000+
Avid RPer. Hit me up in-game @Ras_Lei if you're interested in getting together for some arr-pee shenanigans!

My favorite part of ESO is when you incorporate old popular characters into new adventures. I liked seeing Abnur Tharn in Elsweyr, Veya in Summerset and Naryu in the Gold Coast.

Please try to include fan favorites like Naryu assassin side quests into Greymoor so we can get a continuation of favorite characters stories. I'm sure it will be much appreciated by the fans.
It was disappointing to not see her or much of an assassin story line in Elsweyr

It's fine if it fits. The problem is when you do it for no reason and destroy the lore. Mostly Sai, and Lyris. You kill one of them or the Emporer in the original story line. They shouldn't just be showing up like nothing happened.

I don't think new players should be able to start in the new expansion zones. They should have to go through the game at least once and play the Molag Bal storyline first so then you can keep a consistent story. I never killed Lyris or Sai, which I'm guessing is what most did, but for some people that enjoy the lore and did kill Sai or Lyris it makes the lore worthless

I imagine you're more likely to see Mel Adrys.

I'm DC-only on my quests and haven't done the Morrowind main quest so I have no idea who Naryu is.

She is the Brassy Assassin person? If so, I like her for inspiring my favorite Personality!

But no please no to Dagon or the other "obvious baddie is obvious" Princes in Greymoor. It would be so much more refreshing to feature one of the relatively more obscure Princes like Peyrite, Namira, Clavicus, Vaermina or Sanguine.

IIRC Peyrite is the plague prince right? He was mentioned in Orcrest and believed responsible for the Knhaten Flu, most likely not going to be featured unless related to the Flu. Clavicus was responsible for Morrowind and Clockwork City IIRC. Namira had something related to her in a quest but don’t remember what it was. Vaermina is the vampire one right? Could be Sanguine or Vaermina for sure.

    Oof.

I'd love to catch up with at least Captain Jimila. Hope we find the Perfect Pounce docked at Solitude. That woman is the Cat's meow.

    She was in Murkmire

Vaermina's sphere is the "realm of dreams and nightmares", known as Quagmire. She's the one torturing Dawnstar in Skyrim with nightmares; you help Erandur either destroy the Skull of Corruption, or kill him to take it yourself. There wasn't anything in Skyrim about her being a vampire IIRC.

Vaermina does have a connection to vampirism, although it's not very clear what that is. In Morrowind (TES3), there is a vampire that wants to get his cure from Molag Bal. He actually appears in ESO still as a vampire and gets his cure later in TES3, however Molag Bal can't grant him the cure and must instead receive it from Vaermina. Why that is, we do not know.

Sanguine also has a connection to vampires if only in name and his colour being blood-red but he is said to be allied with Vaermina, so we might actually get some new lore on that soon.

I'd actually forgotten that from MW. I haven't played it in years - the animations and graphics are offputting at this point. I did remember that Sanguine was associated with Vaermina though.

It would be nice if I could just go all the way back to Arena and actually play back through all the games. My favorite was actually Daggerfall....

Please no more of Peryite. I can't see that guy anymore. He's been everywhere lately (Dragonbones, Elsweyr).
Clavicus got his spotlight already too in Morrowind.
Vaermina has a whole zone revolving around her.
Now Sanguine only has a public dungeon and references to "a night to remember" but nothing big, which is sad.
And Namira has only small towns and she technically has the Maw of Lorkhaj, but raids are only for a small percent of a playerbase, so she could really use more development. Luckily we have a few Reach clans that worship her, so we might see more of her in Greymoor.

Dagon might be very in-your-face evil (although there is some subtle underlying theme of hope involved), but outside of City of Ash and Firsthold, we don't actually get to see a lot of him in ESO. Now that may be due to Oblivion being all about him but that doesn't mean he should be completely excluded from ESO! Also, there are some Witches in Markarth worshipping Dagon, so we might see more of him soon too.

Isn't Vaermina also featured in the Stormhaven main questline? She's the main villain for that zone if I remember correctly (It's been a while since I've done DC quests).
