ZOS can you please include Naryu in Greymoor?

My favorite part of ESO is when you incorporate old popular characters into new adventures. I liked seeing Abnur Tharn in Elsweyr, Veya in Summerset and Naryu in the Gold Coast.

Please try to include fan favorites like Naryu assassin side quests into Greymoor so we can get a continuation of favorite characters stories. I'm sure it will be much appreciated by the fans.
It was disappointing to not see her or much of an assassin story line in Elsweyr

Seeing as how they like the characters to fit in appropriately with each dlc, it’s most likely that Lyris is going to be the character attached to this one. Wasn’t she In the video premier too? Naryu may make an appearance as she’s ebonheart pact but as this is western Skyrim it’s more likely not as far as she’s concerned. I could possibly see Orsinium dlc character (can’t remember the events of the dlc so just going to say the king?) making an appearance as that is close to Orsinium

If Naryu is gonna be the same way she was in Morrowind and not like in Deshaan and Eastmarch, then please don't add Naryu anywhere anymore.

I'm wondering if they are bringing back Molag Bal at some point.
Also there are the leaders of the faction who still have some leading to do, which could be included in a continuation of the alliance stories with the war actually progressing, for example taking back Bleakrock and restoring Davon's Watch... Maybe even use the opportunity to add more PvP content like small scale battles over actual areas in the game rather than gladiator matches based around a point system.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

I find the repeated inclusion of characters annoying and lazy. I didn’t like most of them the first time round.

It’s cookie cutter gameplay. So rather than creating compelling new content, Greyskull will have the same series of tasks from Riggurt and his chums. That will be at least half of the non-main quest activities done. Almost no effort required to script, develop, voice over and implement.

And if every area has the same cast, then no area is different and the whole of Tamriel is a single amorphous blob, not unlike the recent snot pet. What is the difference between Summerset (with Riggurt and chums), Elsweyr (with added Riggurt and chums) and Skyrim (with, er, Riggurt and chums)?

I’m all for some continuity, but all the same characters all of the time?

We really don't need to see "fan favorites" in any DLC where it wouldn't make sense for them to be. Naryu doesn't make much sense being in a DLC centered around part of Skyrim that's not actually in the Ebonheart Pact.

Personally I don't see the need to keep bringing any of the old characters back. It made sense for Tharn given how he vanishes with A Very Important Item at the end of the game's base main quest, since it gave closure both for the player and for Tharn's character. Derian made sense for a few different reasons, but really aside from them we don't need to keep seeing the same characters conveniently being in the same place at the same time as us.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends
Celeroth Calatare: Bosmer <insert role here> - Shapeshifting Bosmer with enough sass to fill Valenwood

    PC - NA - EP - CP1000+
Avid RPer. Hit me up in-game @Ras_Lei if you're interested in getting together for some arr-pee shenanigans!

Tbh. I kinda wish to see some base game NPCs that were not as lucky as Raz, Darien, or Queen Ayrenn etc. There were a lot of cool NPCs that were left forgotten - some small hidden gems. For example - Capitan One Eye. She appears in Shadowfen zone main story, and then later in some other EP main story plot. She is even later on in Coldharbour. You may say that she is kinda like Darien, but imagine Darien was forgotten and never appeard again...

I just wish there was a real story in the game with characters you care about. If they just bring chars back for nostalgia reasons but with no logic behind it, it could just as well be new characters, who cares. I like some of the characters, but it feels that they're mostly reduced to being funny/sexy sidekicks and have no real depth to them. Why is Lyris back, why is Sai back? What happened? And do I really care?
I could live without the voice acting if there were a couple of really good cutscenes and if everything would feel more linked and meaningful. You can say what you want about WOW but holy sh... those cutscenes and cinematics are so good!

If it makes sense for a character to be somewhere, sure. Interwoven stories are good, foreshadowing is good.

But just for fanservice? No thank you. She's already a prominent character across content. Forcing her into everything, even when it doesn't make sense, is just stupid.

The only NPC I want in every DLC is Rigurt. he is funny af.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

Maybe if Riggurt turned out to be more than a bumbling idiot Nord. If he actually ran an inter zonal smuggling operation and was subtly co-opting you into helping him. Or if he was promoting some kind of Nordic soft power domination of the various regions. So there’s a bit more to him than funny one liners.

I mean I get that he’s just about 2 or 3 simple, lighthearted steppenfetchit quests which may/may not reward players with a useful recipe or two, but if he’s going to appear all over the place he should have some larger backstory.

As it is, he appear to be an EP Nord in largely non-EP territories trying to somehow build relationships while his Alliance is at war with theirs. This doesn’t really make any sense. And you run into the issue that you’re seeing him everywhere and how can he be everywhere, meeting you over and over again without ever recognising you?

The same with the other characters, if there’s no sense of character development over the different zones, then there’s really no point in continuing to include them.

Well they did say we'd learn more about Riggurt and who he really is in Greymoor so who knows.

Also, apart from the infamous, bumbling Nord and of course Lyris, the only ones that are said to return for Greymoor are members of House Ravenwatch. So presumably no Naryu this time. Maybe for Q4?

Sai was back because he’s Dragonguard duh. Abnur Tharn was obvious. Lyris is from Skyrim so that is obvious as well. Naryu was Morag Tong so... fun. Raz is the Queen’s Eye so... duh. Darien is part of the whole Meridia story so duh too. Rigurt is obvious as well. I really don’t see the problem with seeing these guys everywhere as they are diplomats or assassin’s or part of the hero’s adventuring party.

I'm DC-only on my quests and haven't done the Morrowind main quest so I have no idea who Naryu is.

She is the Brassy Assassin person? If so, I like her for inspiring my favorite Personality!

But no please no to Dagon or the other "obvious baddie is obvious" Princes in Greymoor. It would be so much more refreshing to feature one of the relatively more obscure Princes like Peyrite, Namira, Clavicus, Vaermina or Sanguine.

Of all the characters you interacted with, Naryu is the one that feels like you developed the genuine relationship with.

I was super disappointed that Darian didn't greet you with the same level of similarity. Even Razum'dar speaks to you like a passing acquaintance rather than a friend, despite all you two went through.

Naryu really elevated the Morrowind and Brotherhood experience (after doing ebonheart pact quests)

Other great character relationships are Divayth Fyr, Abdur tharn and even good ol' Rigurt.

But whoever they include I just wish they include better dialogue that respects the previous engagements, maybe even personal calls for help directed towards your character! The Vanos siblings would be ideal for this.

While not fine literature, I thought Darien's character was interesting as we learned about him as we went along the faction story. Originally, we weren't supposed to go to Coldharbour until finishing our first faction quests. And by that time you understood that he actually felt compassion for others. Then he goes with everyone to fight Molag Bal, and you learn that he dreamed of that confrontation. And then he disappeared.

That said, his story is over as far as I'm concerned. No need to mess with a good (enough) story.
