, I insist the team log on at prime time cyrodiil, and play it yourself for an hour or two. Then maybe that will be an eye opener.

Them that design, generally don't play. It would impair their vision for what the game "should be".

    I could be wrong....but I doubt it.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

One of the loading screens tells us about the Z-players. Apparently they are employees of the company.

Have anyone ever noticed them on the Eu server? I haven’t. Didn’t notice them before the servers were split either, but that could be due to the time difference. On Eu I’m often on in prime time- still haven’t seen one

They are the greatest myth of all time.

But honestly, that message is probably only there so players can't pretend to be a ZOS employee.

They do know about the issues, at this point trying to ignore these are impossible.

These problems it's not the developers fault, we can't expect theirs employees to waste their own money to improve server performance, these problems are server side issues which requires more than just simple fix and even making a suitable back end it's not going to fix these issue, it requires investment, which unfortunately PVP it's not theirs concerned, it has low pop if we compared PVE with PVP, stop addressing these issue to the wrong people, these people are there for feedback but they can't do much for the PVP side, if the company doesn't see PVP as a main investment you won' t receive what you want, y'all blaming people that have no power.

And all these complains aren't making anything diference, perfomace for both sides it's a problem since the begin of the game, you can go back to the first complaing about these and not much has be achieved, if you can profit a lot more in PVE, why invest in something that will require a great amount of investment and great amount of time to be address and fixed to a minority of players?

What they will do (the cheap way) it's mess with a combat system to stress less the server, and in this very situation of changes they almost broke PVP (again).

The solution: Competition or unless you guys want to address direct to the 'big guys' at Zenimax Online and ZeniMax Media Inc which may not cause a good response tho, they also all have Twitter.

I dont think they really know to be honest. I think they get some feedback from these boards, they notice if a lot of players disconnect. But no, I dont think theyve actually played cyrodiil during prime time for years. Else it wouldnt have come to this.

The devs play their own game all the time. They play PvE and PvP all the time and on multiple platforms. It's their personal time, don't harass them about it. They get infinitely more info at the office about how bad performance is as opposed to their own play time.

Yeah I don't believe you either sadly, if they set foot in the EU or even Na servers during primetime they would be dropping everything to fix this.

I hope that by 'devs' you mean the company management, not the actual programmers (which is what dev usually refers to). Programmers have a roadmap, including deadlines, for planned content. Even if they didn't realise the severity of the Cyrodiil performance (and I bet they do), they could not 'drop everything' without their management making room for it. For all we know the fact that performance issues are on that roadmap at all is thanks to developers pushing back against management. Just saying that it may be hugely unfair to blame lax developers for the state of Cyrodiil.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

While in principal agreeing with you, I don't agree in the case what has happend in update 25.

Sure, the general direction of the game is decided up by the management. And the general direction is: Catering more to the casual players by (indirectly) mitigating difficult content (by empowering gear/healing/skills), delivering even more overland areas and story lines and adding fluff items that can be bought for crowns. Nothing devs can do about this.

But update 25 is so riddled with a multitude of fundamental problems that you really have to ask the devs and the QA-team what they are actually doing.

The only argument i can see that would push this issue back to the management is that they are so understaffed (or maybe underskilled, because e.g. most of the stuff could have been outsourced to freelancers not acquainted with the code) that they are incapable of delivering something better.

I've been doing IT projects all my professional life and I can asure you that in the industries I have worked in (mostly finance and manufacturing) this stuff would have been a case for the lawyers.

They are fully aware of the state of the game. That’s what makes it more sad/frustrating.

That’s just there to make us think they might show up. No one really bet they ever will 🤣
Everything will be alright in the end, if its not alright its not the end.

Im not completely sure they are. I think they rely on user feedback, and monitoring the servers. but actual cyrodil prime-time gameplay I dont think any of the lead personel have ever done

The game in its current state actually is NOT playable. No skills other than hots and at best light attacks works. This is on PC, not console. I dont think you developers are aware of this. I comfort myself telling me that, at least, because if you WERE aware of the terrible performance, you would step up and DO something about it. So, I insist the team log on at prime time cyrodiil, and play it yourself for an hour or two. Then maybe that will be an eye opener.

What do you mean HoTs and light attacks work?

They play, yes, whether or not they willingly subject themselves to primetime Gray Host is another matter entirely. For years - years! - two guilds I have been in have politely and respectfully asked the devs to hop on anonymously and see what it is that we go through every night and that request has not been met with a positive response. The devs used to hold meeting with us in Teamspeak and talk to us but that hasn't happened in years. I know they do Battlegrounds and I know Lambert occasionally runs with people I know, but there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that any one of them has roll in an organized group in Primetime PvP basically forever. And that would explain a lot of the curious changes they have made to cyrodiil over the years.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.
