Custom UI Scale is not working.

It doesn't matter if I push the mark all the way to the left or to the right, reload UI, or use addons or not. UI keeps huge. A few screens of before and now:

This was an intentional change and noted in the patch notes, due to it causing a myriad of other issues. However, we’ve seen everyone’s feedback and will investigate the possibility of re-adding this option in a future update, contingent on scheduling.. Oh my god please do, because it is kind of unfair to hit PC players because of console players, especially when there isn't even crossplay with them.

The HUD now takes up most of the screen with my character being reduced to half their size. This is really unacceptable. You are punishing Gamepad players on the PC by doing this. The keyboard side works well so why doesn't the gamepad side? Figure it out and give it back. Not in a future update, which is a way of saying someday we will consider it, but patch it back now.

Yeah, absolutely crazy, I arrived here thinking was a bug, an ugly and game-breaking one, if you ask me.
Only to find out....is intentional...wow, really wow.

Now I have a ridiculously huge UI taking up all my 4k TV screen and nothing I can do about it.
I would be really curious to see the faces of those guys deciding a major mess up like this one, that completely ruins the gameplay experience of players all over the world, just curious, for Darwinian studies purpouse, really.

Please do. It's stupendously large and cumbersome on a monitor. Even on a TV, it feels oddly large and outdated, which is perhaps unsurprising given the game arrived before many higher resolution screens. I timed simply scrolling through the set description in my inventory at about seven seconds; the description is around 60 words long. There were several threads pointing out the issues people had with this change on the PTS forum.

While it may be a taxing feature to maintain, it's one that no small number of people rely upon - and one that you would sort of expect of an MMO in 2020, let alone one people like myself have been paying a monthly subscription for over years. I logged in today and gave up before touching the new content because of the mess that is the current UI. It's impactful of the flow of the game and feels very much like you've decided controller users aren't worth the development time others merit.

Imagine removing a feature because it was causing issues rather than resolving those issues. Don't just stop at re-enabling this for PC gamepad UI; let console players scale their UI also.

if you play with a controller just cancel your membership for 1-2 months, money talks. I just did cancel mine.

This is unacceptable , I have been playing this game since beta day one and keep a sub but I can no longer
play with current state of the game pad UI and will not sub again until it is fixed. I fail to see the reasoning in
removing it this is an action mmo and as such feels wrong with anything but my gamepad.
I played with game pad long before there was even support for it because I do not like the way it feels with
mouse & keyboard.

Please bring this back, I love this game but will not be playing until it is fixed.

Unfortunately, I have mine set for 6 months at a time and mine renewed last month. I did not expect this kind of issue or I would not have renewed. Now, I am stuck for a few months with a subscription that I cannot really use because the game is intolerable. Lesson learned: Don't renew for multiple months at a time to save money it will cost more in the end when they fix something by just removing something rather than actually addressing the problem that they said it caused. (Although, it wasn't causing problems for me so I'm not sure what they were talking about it breaking.)

I've been using Azurah do my UI scaling it's not a perfect solution but it is better than a gigantic UI. The link below is where I learned about it.
