Partial Refunds for Players with cross-alliance character list

ZoS is limiting the portion of the product that I purchased, subbed to, and put 9000 hours into building.
The only consistently Populated pvp campaign will be alliance locked, meaning I can use a fraction of my account for 30 days at a time, and only play with 1/3 of friends.

Is there anyway support would consider refunding me 1/3rd of the money I paid to ZoS? I am bad at scanning terms of service, but I'm pretty sure I own the product, yet they are telling me I can't play part of it. Must be a violation there somewhere. Thanks for any suggestions.

You don't own anything. Seriously, you paid for an access point, nothing is yours.

If all people that think like you would actually go to Blackreach that problem would solve itself...then Blackreach wouldn't be dead and you could play CP non alliance locked.
But all you do is forever complain about the faction lock, while you are not willing to do something about it, even though you could.

You paid for those 9000 hours of gameplay. You got your money's worth.

    Nope won't fly.

You CAN still play those characters on the unlocked campaigns that are provided for you. Just because you CHOOSE not to is not basis for a refund.

This thread will go the way I expect it to go. Especially when the OP admits to not reading what they agreed to.

As already said, none of what you have "built" is your property.

The ToS would like to say hi.

ZOS does not owe you a refund, as by playing you have agreed to them being allowed to make any changes they wish.

Ah thanks for the responses everyone. It was very informative. And I am convinced I was wrong.

I'm sure you are all very skilled players with a good handle on game mechanics, so thanks for piping up.

I don't really see any grounds for a refund. That being said, it seems like ZOS could actually address the issues that people with multi-alliance characters are having with being able to play on a populated campaign.
So far, they're really not doing anything besides making both campaigns 30 day and changing the names.

What are they going to do, force people to play equally on both campaigns?

About the only thing they can do is make the option for both types of campaigns available then make everyone swap campaigns to the one they prefer. Which they literally just did.

Faction swap tokens aren't an option for them, last we heard.

(My preferred solution is to fix the performance issues so hopefully we have a big enough PVP population to fill both campaigns, but that seems like wishful thinking at this point.)

Yeah, last we heard faction swap wasn't something they were going to do, but it would be nice if they'd elaborate a bit. Cyrodiil is so disconnected from the rest of Tamriel, I don't see why you can't select a faction for all characters at the start of a campaign.
It just seems like there are options that could at least be considered. I have all toons as one faction, but just because it's not a problem for me doesn't mean it's not a problem.

    Hello everyone,

With this thread seeming to have ran it's course, we're going to go ahead and close it down. Along with this, there already appears to be a faction lock discussion here.

    Thank you for understanding.
