I already corrected it for him. I know what you mean though. That and "your" and "you're" are also some common ones which are not used correctly.

If you nerf healing in PVP, you kill healing for PVE. So quit asking for nerfs because the team that you lost to was better than yours.

not if you're applying the nerf to the pvp passive "battle spirit", that only happens in pvp.

Urgh, let's kill off healers in PvE.

When i play as healer on PvP, the good, skillful and strategic players target me and try to take me down. My group trys to protect me. And the battle rages on. Great fun.

Instead of just wanting to one shot or bomb people, try using strategy. If the group has healers, take them down first. They'll go down quick after that.

I'd say that's a better mechanic than nerfing something just because, well, you want a game which requires no skill.

Let's all be snipe stackers and see who wins.

The whole point of cyrodiil is to use strategy and numbers to take resources.

Hell, don't the keeps and walls and door get in the way too? Let's get rid of them. Let's just have a big, open, empty field with just all out war with no healers or tanks. That does actually sound fun, though.

Nerf request should cost CP, that would do wonder for no CP PvP :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Perhaps some heals can receive a nerf similar to streak. Make it more and more expensive to cast heal after heal. But sporadic tactical heals would be unchanged.
Sounds nice until you need to farm an set from some trial :open_mouth:

So, the healers have to pause between doing heals? What should we do in between these times? Sit down and have a cuppa?

I don't get it. A healer is supposed to heal. We've been smashed into the ground already. As I said before, just target the healer. Try to use strategy and skill. I get hammered when healing. If I'm in a good group, I get protected. If not, I die. It's not rocket science.

I suggest you go and make a healer and see how tricky it is to heal as it is. The entire mechanic behind groups and synergy between them rests on people having their own jobs. A group of dd's focused on their own personal stats gets nothing done. A group with a mix of roles takes resources and nodes.

How have you been smashed into the ground? Heals got a ridiculous buff after elsweyr and never got toned down since.

PvE healers are flirting with 'irrelevent' so any nerfs to PvE heals will decrease a small and shrinking community.

PvP I don't know or care about. IF such nerfs are deemed appropriate in PvP, then Battle Spirit would seem to be the appropriate tool since healing nerfs to PvE are woefully inappropriate.

Not a PvE player, but my logic tells me that this is the exact reason healers are becoming useless.
If you can plow trough the content without need for a healer, since DPS has enough healing by themselves, that would indicate healing is a bit over the top.
    Am i wrong?
But I agree with you, PvP healing should be nerfed trough Battle Spirit.

You are not entirely correct. Just like a skill PvP player can avoid and mitigate much of the damage someone tosses their way the same holds true in PvE. Since the day this game released avoiding and mitigating damage was the greatest factor with a player's survival in both settings.
    Really, idk

Nerf cross healing through battle spirit that is all.
Reduce healing received from an ally by 75% instead of 50% so only a dedicated healer can have a real impact on ally healing.
Only allow heals to party members in a pvp area, this should reduce server calculations too.

Allow us to switch smart healing priority so it always heals the caster first, this will avoid accidental cross healing, when you just want to use bloody rapid regen on yourself

Then just reduce the effectiveness of the red cp tree in pvp area's, this won't effect no cp or pve as i don't think it is an issue there. I would suggest reducing ironclad's(and thick skinned if DOTs ever become something to fear again) effectiveness by 50% so you will lose roughly 10% mitigation in cp campaigns.

just get rid of all heals and be done with it. While were at it get rid of all magicka based and stamina based class skills.

Lets just throw rocks at each other and be done with everything else...

Theres no need to dumb it down that far. Sticks for stam and stones for magicka. If you're a templar you get a golden yellow stick. Dragon knights get a burnt orange stick and so on. We need to preserve flavor.

I love the use of class identity, take note ZOS!

Rework battle spirit, take the max health away as well or reduce it to 50% from 100%. I wouldn't touch any sort of major mending or healing % passives due to it affecting PvE in more ways than one.

PvP healing is out of control, passive healing + smart healing are the biggest contributors. Only way you're really avoiding most of this is if you're burst combination has no cast times or delays which in my case(Nightblade) has we suffer from it as it burst cant hit in the GCD window to get burst with a stun or fear in.

I don't think ZoS are going to handle this well, even though they'll NERF healing so much that DKs with Mending will be the beneficiary of such a NERF ever affects Vigour.

I didn't vote as all the %s are too high, maybe a slight NERF to rapid Regen as they nerfed vigours AOE last patch; reduced tick of heal from Templar ring in PvP only; the snare removal was okay but the heal from it heals for 22s in a 22m radius every 2s which is still insane in ball groups/zergs in PvP (as it stacks with other Plars rituals and it purges).

    0%.

Healing wouldn't be a problem if offensive skills, Dots, and cc wasn't water-down and overnerfed because of PvP complaints in the first place.

Yeah but knowing this combat team, there more likely giving out nerfs than buffs. Let be realistic here.
