When I read the other thread I had no idea he died that way, that's too bad. I wish he felt like he had someone to talk to, or an outlet to release his feelings but I know all too well what depression can do. I struggle with it every day and I fear the day I lose. Again, like I said in the other thread, my sympathies go out to his family, friends and guildmates.

If you are struggling please talk to someone, it's not a weakness and you're not alone. Depression is an illness and it can affect just about anyone in any situation.

I just heard about this and I'm truly shocked. I've played mostly against him (always for the Dominion) and a few times by his side (when helping friends or showing Cyro to new guildies with my only EP char) and now I'll feel strange not seeing his name anymore. Wish I'd known before to join the memorial, I've taken a little break after Midyear event and work, The Sims and Lego took my time, but no matter what alliance we play for, the first thing we love is gaming and enjoying our moments there, and sure I'll always remember our fights.

This hit me right in the feels, I walked that dark road years ago, and though I managed to get out, depression and anxiety are still with me, we're the "best friends ever", and I know I'll never get rid of them. Sometimes I go back there and stare at the abyss, and kinda fun fact, playing with you, family, helps me getting out again.

It makes me feel sad he couldn't hold anymore and lost this battle after all those he fought and won on Cyro. Congrats to everyone that made possible such an amazing and touching memorial and video, we all will always remember him and though a little late, I want to send my condolences to his family and friends, and show all my respect to him here:

Its so nice that players were able to come together from all the alliances in pvp and put down their weapons and do such an amazing event like that on the consoles for a stranger. It does go to show that the community can come together and help honor what would be a random stranger to many people. It does give hope and I do hope he is in a better place. Its sad what happened to him . It was so nice to see that a community came together in Cyrodiil not kill their fellow players but have a temp cease fire so they could honor this player is something very nice and does give hope for humanity.

You guys/gals did him honor and not only honor but showed how much you really cared for him even if he might have felt no one did or whatever caused him to take his own life. I'm happy players were able to do this for him to show support. Hopefully he knows how much support he had and all the people that truly cared for him. As well as how much he will be missed.

I played with him on the 6th and on the 8th he was gone. He was a really nice guy.
It took some time for me to believe this was true.
Some guild members thought he was just taking a break from the game at first.

Rest in peace James.
