Need a bit of help with my mage build.

I seem to be doing really low DPS and i don't understand why.
These are the current sets i got on me. Maybe i specced the champion points wrong.
Cause i feel like i do very little damage to enemies in dungeons.

Julianos is full Mundus trait.

When I was trying to get my DPS up (still average at best) most of my problems were with the skills I was using and the rotation. I'm not going to be much help in that area but someone that can help will probably want to know what skills you are running.

Haven't tested it out yet with the addon to see exactly how much damage i do to the enemies. But my party members sometimes melt them extremely fast.
And i feel like i'm being useless. I really don't like that.

First off, as a magicka character I think you want to use boundless storm instead of hurricane. What’s on your front/other bar? You need some sort of spammable- ele weapon, force pulse/crushing shock or something, also crystal frags is nice. If you’re going all lightning, you could make a heavy attack build with lightning staves which does decent damage. Drop wall of elements, lightning flood, heavy attack, crystal frags when it procs, Mages wrath in execute. Thats basically easy mode.
Also, what is your race? If you’re using a spammable probably want to be a breton for recovery, if heavy attack build go altmer.
*****Looking at your stats are you eating food? Health and magicka are low. Also, don’t forget to use spell power potions. Makes a huge difference.

Get rid of those sets except julianos.
With no pets Pair 5 julianos with 5 bright throat or crafty alfiq and shadow mundus stone. 2 valkyn skoria or 2 illambris.
If youre playing with pets use 5 necropotence 5 bright throat or 5 crafty alfiq 2 illambris with the max magic mundus stone.
Julianos is a perfect crafted set to carry you until you get 1 trial set.
I use a lightning staff front bar flame staff back bar.

Oh man i just saw the difference on the wiki.
This is what happens when i don't pay attention....
The other bar are a few skills from darkness cause i wanted to level that skill line a bit for the Unholy knowledge trait.

I'm eyeing Illambris.
Just rolled for the shoulders and i got it on the second try, i only had 10 keys so i panicked a little.
Now i'l have to farm for the Bright Throat.

Illambris is really solid.
Julianos is fine

Necropotence + julianos is a classic sorc setup

Brightthroat isn't that great since they nerfed witch mothers honestly, 2 stat food is just better.
If you can, get into some normal sunspire trial runs and get some false god. it's easily the best mag set in the game right now.

Sadly no one needs new people for the trials.
Always say they get in the way or are inexperienced.
Been trying to find people for trials for my healer.
No luck there either. I guess its cause of the almost 300 champion level.

Ya, brightthroat is just ok. If you can get false god’s, that would be awesome. But it looks like you’re using the twilight so necropotence would definitely be good and pretty easy to get. Julianos is decent as well. Remember that pet damage scales off max mag.
It really depends on what kind of sorc you are running. If you are using a spammable skill, you really need to build in some recovery because sorcs have terrible recovery (breton, false gods, maybe bright throat). If you are building for pets and heavy attacks you want to build for max magicka.

Julianos + Netch isn’t bad gear. You stand to gain only a few % from other sets. I do see a couple issues though, it looks like some of your armor pieces have no enchant. Put a glyph of Magicka on those, at least a purple cp160. And re-enchant your jewelry too, Spell Damage on as many pieces as possible (not sure if all 3 are mag recovery right now?).

Also do you have food and a Mundus Stone active? And drinking potions?

Mostly you just need to come up with a good skill rotation and practice it. That will help far more than any items.

300cp running Normal trials is common and will allow time to practice at getting better on your class and doing trials.
Moondancer is a very good set on a mag sorc and its quite helpful to group.
Normal trials are cake! Dont get discouraged you have to ask others to help you and there are always 810s who play trials with 160s 200s and 300s.

Illambris is awesome on my sorcerers!
Use crafty alfiq or necropotence, you can buy these from guild traders for cheap.
Dont go Below 16k health and if you need more health put a health enchant on your legs and or your chest.
My mag builds have 20k health.

Enchantments are a bit all over the place right now.
I'm using The Apprentice mundus that increases spell damage.
I'm doing both sometimes, either drinking potions that give magicka restoration.
Or food that increases health.

Your magicka is REALLY low.... I mean.... Really, REALLY, low..... Some of your gear doesn't even have magicka enchantments on it OP and max magicka boosts damage in this game. I think every 10 points is equal to 1 spell damage.

I'm reluctant to wear Julianos on a pet sorcerer because spell damage doesn't do anything for pets. (And I never wear Netch's Touch or Spider Cultist at all.)

Mother's Sorrow, however, does buff all sorcerer damage. Further, it increases Critical Surge procs if you make room for that on your skillbar, which I like to do for defensive purposes in many scenarios.

By the way, I tend to run something like:

• Volatile Familiar x2
• Twilight Matriarch x2 (I like healing)
• Daedric Prey (between the damage it does directly and what it adds to pet damage, it does a lot per cast)
• Empowered Ward (I like defense)
• Critical Surge (I like healing, and spell power helps a lot of my damage)
• Elemental Blockade (fire-and-forget, easy to aim, procs my backbar enchantiment, etc.) or Lightning Flood (powerful if the group will actually hit the synergy often)
• Crushing Shock (I like defense, and I also like having a spammable attack)
• Crystal Fragments

That means I have to do without most or all of Boundless Storm (I like defense but I don't like having to position myself near the enemy), Endless Fury, Dark Conversion, the second AoE skill, or passive-benefit skills such as Bound Aegis (is that the morph?) or Inner Light. When all that is too much to give up, I do without Volatile Familiar, and perhaps then Daedric Prey as well.

Yea i'm trying to replace the summon with something else.
And i'm using Shadow mundus changed it a few minutes ago.

You should always use food (or drink) that increases at least two stats, usually including both max health and max magicka.

I'm doing about 15000 DPS now.
I got the full juliano's set with Mother's Sorrow. As well as the 2 piece Ilambris.
I'm starting to feel a lot better now.
