CHange the way skills go off ?

Hey,

So i noticed skills go off when you actually let go of the button, is it possible to make it so that skills go off when you click your mouse or your keyboard key instead of when you let go ?
I figure it would help tremendously with AC, and i always die in pvp because my shields don't go off in time, which is very frustrating
I know some game work like that

For me they fire when i press the key down. Idk maybe some wrong settings on your end?

Are you sure ? I just tested it and all my skills only activate when i let go of the button
I don't see any settings that would change that ?

Yes i am 100% Sure. Is it also with your mouse clicks? Cause otherwise you should be unable to charge a heavy attack.

yes the same with mouse, for example i'm using my shield on mouse side buttons, they will only activate on key release, and thats enough time for enemies to kill me before the shield is there
as for LA/HA, if a press my left mouse button it will do a light attack when i click and release the key quickly, if i keep pressing the key it will do a heavy attack (but it won"t do a light attack from first key press)

unless you're using macros that is, but i do believe that's against the ToS ?

The only thing that works on key press is my bar swap key

I just tested this and mine also function the way OP is describing. I just never noticed it because key-pressing happens so fast.

So i take it there's no way around that ?
It does annoy me a lot in pvp, especially when seeing other ppl poping heals and shields out of their butts meanwhile i have to press the key three times for the same result

I dont know mate but for me they fire Off as soon as i Press the key

That might be something in your keyboard settings not related to the game at all.

Skills are not firing properly lately. I got called a liar in chat the other day after failing a gank because my ulti didnt fire. My ulti made the noise showed the animation emptied the counter but didnt actually fire. So I stood in front of the dc scum like a potato and spammed it over and over until he recovered and killed me . I respawned with 260 ult Smh happens everyday now

* I feel like there are times when the game is stopping me from executing people. Either skills wont fire or they do and just disappear doing no damage. Similar to the bug being reported on pts

I would have sworn and bet gold that my skills went off when I press the button. Just checked and I would have lost my gold.

Someone else mentioned having to push the button three times to get a skill to go off. That is unrelated to if the skill goes off on press or release.
