Future of block cancel?

Do these 'additional changes' to block include restoring the ability to fluently block cancel? If there isn't an intent, there will be major impacts in the bread and butter of how people will play, c'mon zos...

stileanima✭✭✭✭You can still block cancel, it's just that the animation when you block cancel doesn't play like it used to.
You can test this with a Psijic ability on your bar, making sure the "Concentrated Barrier" passive is unlocked, and/or with the "Reinforced" CP passive unlocked.
LA > Skill > Block cancel and watch what happens. "Reinforced" only procs when you block, as does the "Concentrated Barrier" passive. You can see that you are still blocking even though it doesn't look like it in terms of your character's animations.

That animation part where the skill appears to shorten is what matters to most people.2
