VVardenfell has more interesting stories and people but Summerset looks better. Ive seen enough of Red mountain in ESO and TES 3 for a while and Summerset is new to me so it wins, but barely.

I'm still really sad that there are surveys in Northern Elsweyr but not in Summerset. Altough I finished everything there, I still go there just for some walk.

Enjoyed major questlines in both places and both have memorable npcs, though Summersets is largely a reuse of older ones rather than try to make something new. So Vvardenfell wins out on one part nostalgia and a large part of looking better than Summerset does. Honestly why do all Altmer zones look so... fake? The looks like a backdrop to a 60s movie that's been colorized.

Summerset really does look amazing, and it's definitely one of my favourites. But Vvardenfell just has more variety whereas Summerset is all quite similar.

I bought ESO to get back to Vvardenfell, but while the story and quests are good I can't get past the fact that only the outer ring of the island is accessible.

Besides, I find Summerset beautiful and quite liked the main quest.

this is difficult... One is my main crafting hub where I probably spend most of my 'play' time lately.
The other is my first chapter I played through, and a really beautiful zone.
Both have an interesting story & quests.
I can't decide.

But at least Summerset is really beautiful. And it has some very well written quests. (Some of those even include Altmer.) And it doesn't suffer from adding organized murder (Morag Tong) to xenophobia, racism (a forte of the Dunmer as well) and slavery (Dunmer only), pretending that's cool. (Why am I supposed to like Naryu ???)
Oh, and did I mention how beautiful it is ?

(And Summerset brought back Darien ! But it denied me the chance to kick Meridia down for what happened to him in the end, so I won't count that one way or another.)

Neither of them is my favourite zone, or what I'd consider the best one, but since this is the final choice I'll go with Summerset any day. (Despite never having used Jewelry crafting once.)

It is not exactly endless to tell the truth. It is controlled. It will proc only if you log off inside the crafting area. If you log off on the other side of gate, there will be no song.

As would I be. The Dunmer are far more interesting than the High Elves and Vvardenfell is more unique than "oh so pretty Summerset". But that's just my opinion.
