Alliance banner bought from Impresario is legion zero banner?

Unfortunately, I don't want the tickets either because this was the only event item I've wanted so far.
So a refund doesn't do much. I wanted a banner of the Alliance of the character on which I bought the item, as stated. Instead I've got a banner from a Legion Zero soldier who left one blue sock in the machine when he was doing his banner laundry.

Haven't read through the whole thread, but the description on the fragments that you get once a day in the reward boxes says very clearly that you need to buy a license from the merchant. I bought one today, even though I don't have 10 fragments yet. The license costs 50,000 AP.

You can spend your current tickets on something else before filing a support ticket, or if there’s nothing else you want or are able to spend event tickets on, wouldn’t you have lost those tickets anyhow by being over the cap already if you hadn’t bought the banner(s)?

Well no. I had both berries and dumped my tickets into the emotes as the outfit pages didn't interest me. So that would be 15 tickets.

It may not be possible to easily change them to actual faction banners and it may not be a good idea to retroactively change them as that causes other issues with people that actually like the current look, but at bare minimum, can you update the descriptions so that people are fully aware that these are not faction banners?

The description should have read something like, "Legion Zero banner in the color of your alliance" or "Legion Zero banner with your choice of alliance color". Then folks would have had a better idea of what they are getting.

It also would have been helpful for players to know they could get one for free with tokens and AP and could purchase additional banners from the Impresario.

That is pretty disappointing with the way the emote was named
I would do a support ticket but i really have nothing else to spend the tickets on & would go over the cap.
So it just goes on teh huge pile of emotes i never use LOL

Definitely misleading, as it doesn't say Legion Zero banner in your alliance's color, it says "your alliance's banner", which looks nothing like what they actually sell you.

someone at ZOS made a really poor decision. People wanted alliance banners, you told us they were alliance banners. Just really odd thing to do.

Another thing to note: If you've just been collecting the boxes without opening them, like I did.... you will still only get one fragment per day. I opened one today, claimed the token, then looked in the other boxes.... no tokens. So if you've been waiting to open them, and still want to get the Legion Zero banner (falsely advertised as an alliance banner).... you'd best buy your license from the Predicate before she disappears on February 4th, or you'll be stuck with a bunch of tokens, and no way to combine them. Plus it's unknown if you will still get tokens from the unopened boxes after the event ends.

Just going to add that I also find this hugely disappointing. I mean, "Runebox: Ebonheart Pact Banner Emote" with the description starting "Contains an Ebonheart Pact Banner Emote..." does not actually contain an Ebonheart Pact banner of any kind.

I find it difficult to believe this was the original intent at all. It literally claims to be one thing but is something totally different.

That's... really disappointing. I thought once you bought the thing for 50k AP it'd be "converted into your alliance's banner" but since my alliance is not Legion Zero that's... useless...?

Would've been nice if they had been the actual alliance banners, after all those files are in the game already

That’s what I’m saying. Once you bought the spectral berries, you started accumulating event tickets. At 12 you would have lost any subsequent tickets you acquired, since you have no intention of buying style pages. Since you weren’t going to spend any more tickets on anything else, you would have hit the cap of 12 no matter how many more tickets you had “earned” after that.

If you ask for a refund for all 3 banners, they cannot return all 15 tickets at once. They would just take you to the cap of 12, the same result (in your case) as if you had not bought the banners at all. There is no way you could have stored 15 tickets at once, and there is no way Support can or should give you back 15 tickets now. It would be different if you intended to purchase other things with those tickets, but you said you did not want to do that. If you do now want style pages in place of the banners, I’d suggest asking Support to send you the pages in trade for the banners instead of having to work around the ticket cap.

Thanks for posting it, I knew I saw it somewhere. This is so stupid I can't wrap my head around this. So are they still claiming this is daggerfall covenant banner? Does anybody have proof that it actually appeared somewhere as Legion Zero banner? Because I've been thinking if that story with it matching the motif was legit or just made up based on what people assumed.

Wow, this gets more and more convoluted the deeper you peer into it. It's like a team of loremasters all sat around a big table and whispered an idea into the ear of the next person, who in turn whispered it to the next, and so on. By the time it got back around.... well... you know how the story goes.

The official ZOS announcement earlier in this thread says it's intended to be the Legion Zero banner.

Perhaps when Sai Sahan entered his Schrodinger state of being both dead and alive at the same time, he altered the fabric of time and Yokudan warriors somehow warped forward to today's Imperial City, carrying their blue banners and whatnot. They probably grabbed some extra uniforms and put them on so as to blend in. Then when Molag Bal came to establish the planemeld, they remembered that time he kicked their Yokudan butts way back when, and arranged a deal with him. Bol then dubbed them Legion Zero, as all the other Imperial legions had regular numbers.

The fact that this was apparently intentional frankly makes it worse. The description says "For the Queen!" and what I'm waving around is a yellow version of the Legion Zero emblem...? What Queen is it referring to? Molag Bal?
