Unless you count Wrothgar which is effectively governed by Orcs despite being in High Rock, Bretons are the only race that haven't received any content updates, either zones or dungeons. Bosmer are barely ahead with one dungeon, Lair of Maarselok, which also adds a new Bosmer-themed motif. I'd like to have something like that for Bretons.

For races that still lack parts of their province, I'd like to see an Imperial chapter, either Colovia or Nibenay.

It's such a shame that Valenwood was completely filled in from launch. DLC zones and Chapters are of such a higher quality than the base game zones, presumably because base game zones were targeting low-end PCs and laptops rather than current gen consoles being the baseline as we see today.

Valenwood suffers from a lack of dense vegetation as a result, with low poly tree models, and huge amounts of open space despite the concept art for ESO's Valenwood being beautifully lore friendly:
    Valenwood-Concept-Art.jpg
    dab32047cbb7b746f6571ff66f4afc6e_wallpaper-1920x1080.jpg
    • A never-ending canopy of hues of browns and greens obscured the sky. A millennia's worth of fallen leaves formed a deep, wormy sea of putrefaction beneath their feet. Several miles were crossed wading through the slime. For several more, they took a labyrinthian path across fallen branches and the low-hanging boughs of giant trees.
    • Time was meaningless. Sunlight was only sporadic through the vegetative ceiling. Phosphorescent molds on the trees and in the muck below provided the only regular illumination.
    • The path continued upward for several hours more across a clot of fallen logs, rising up to the first and then the second boughs of the tree line. As they rounded a long corner, the travelers found themselves midway up a waterfall that fell a hundred feet or more.
    • Falinesti spread across the horizon before him. Sprawling across both banks of the river stood the mighty graht-oak city, with groves and orchards of lesser trees crowding it like supplicants before their king. At a lesser scale, the tree that formed the moving city would have been extraordinary: gnarled and twisted with a gorgeous crown of gold and green, dripping with vines and shining with sap. At a mile tall and half as wide, it was the most magnificent thing Scotti had ever seen.
    • If Falinesti was a tree, then Silvenar was a flower. A magnificent pile of faded shades of green, red, blue, and white, shining with crystalline residue. Mallon had mentioned off-hand, when not otherwise explaining Aldmeri prosody, that Silvenar had once been a blossoming glade in the forest, but owing to some spell or natural cause, the trees' sap began flowing with translucent liqueur. The process of the sap flowing and hardening over the colorful trees had formed the web of the city. Mallon's description was intriguing, but it hardly prepared him for the city's beauty.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see a Q4 DLC take place on an island off the coast of Valenwood, dominated by proper grahtoaks, with some great verticality in level design, and an example of what Valenwood would look like if it had been designed with ESO's current target specs, rather than the base game's target specs.

Less of this (open expanses of grassland and the occassional ancient but small tree dotted about, and most cities being Altmer architecture for... reasons):

Imperial. Every other race can simply buy a house in their region but Imperials have at best the single house in Gold Coast which costs $150 real life dollars if you bought the crowns for the purchase (or around that). No hotel room. Nothing. And since the Gold Coast is a Dark Brotherhood questing zone, they also don't have a single quest hub anywhere in the game featuring a city of Imperials doing something as simple as watching this war they apparently aren't officially a part of in the base game. I can't understand why they even bothered adding the race. Its one of the reasons I think they are a DLC race because they simply didn't fit anywhere in the base game for players to enjoy their culture at.

Imagine if the Khajiit were treated the same. Elsyweyr is just the battlefield of the war so if you want to enjoy their culture it would be the few towns you could find 15 minutes apart. They could join any faction but Khajiiti NPCs would be scattered with most just serving as the bad guys to confront (I seriously thought beginning the game Imperials were the enemy of the war).

My preference for which race to see more on is Breton but thinking about it, Imperials have been dealt a rotten hand by ZOS. Should have carved off some areas somewhere (that would belong to no faction just optional questing sort of like the current Cyrodiil towns only not half your day between) to at least address the fact there are ten playable races in the game.

In terms of zones and content featuring them, Imperials are easily the most neglected. Cyrodiil doesn't have a storyline or a thing really focusing on them. The most we've gotten is the town in Elsweyr where we learn a bit about their Alaviri descent.

Next is probably Redguards, who have a tutorial zone and one base game zone (maybe half of Bangkorai if you count southern Bangkorai). They're due for some love.

Then we have Argonians who have one base game zone and a small little dlc zone.

After them, I'd say Orcs deserve another go. All they have is a starter tutorial zone and a dlc zone.

I have this idea for a chapter. It's probably not gonna happen because of the can of worms it's going to open but I'd like to see a dragonbreak like event sending our characters in a version of Tamriel where Cyrodiil is a jungle and the story revolves on us trying to get back to our version that's retroactively influenced by Tiber Septim's use of CHIM. It would allow us to experience the Cyrodiil and the Imperial culture in a new way that no other game could.

I don't see this happening though because then those people would want to see the Dwemer return in a similar fashion, which would just take away from their mystery.

I do think they have content where you go to Cyrodiil in the form of a jungle in the game but they could do more with that maybe an adjacent place. Maybe they could even use abandoned lore for that area and make it its more unique thing. Like names of the races, orcs are monsters, Maybe more unique monsters that were seen in Daggerfall and Arena that don't exist on Tamriel Prime. That would be a very neat idea. Though I don't think they need to Dragonbreak it. Maybe just take us there through some other means.

Yeah the Celestial Serpent tries to revert Nirn to how it was originally and you can see the jungles of Cyrodiil in the background. But we foiled those plans and it would be lazy to just have the Serpent try again and partially succeed. So something else needs to happen.

Don't need the serpent that isn't what I meant but maybe take us to Tamriel Prior. Where lore differs from Tamriel prime and maybe do quests and stuff there in the Cyrodiil Prior Forests and maybe have to stop a varient of the Tharn Family from destroying Cyrodiil Prior.

Really, it's the Redguards' turn, but I didn't vote for them because I can't stand their syrupy lore. Remember they're the ones who would willingly allow their dad/mom/kid to wander around as a zombie, because to put an end to that goes against their culture. So dad stays rotting as a zombie forever. :s
    Imperials would be interesting, though.

I would guess that "Imperials" content would get labled as paywalled or even pay to win - since you have to buy the race. Now, of course, you wouldn't have to have an Imperial to do Imperial content, but considering how people react about things around here....

Anyway, I agree that Imperials and Redguards need some love.

Bosmer are the only race with zero manors.

    None.

    Nada.

    Zip.

Not even crown store only ones.

Every other race has at least one. Some several.

Each playable race should have at least one not crown store manor.

One of those big stained glass type trees would be fabulous. Like the one where the New Year's festival quest is in Grahtwood. And some pods without tusks built into the doors or leather floors. Players can always add dead animal furnishings if they're into that.

Possibly you could even go modular with them. Have the tree and pods as free standing BIG furniture items and allow players to position them as they please. Create a nice vale in Valenwood which players can use. Or maybe they'd like to drop down a tree and / or pods on some other property.

Content wise I'd like to see Falinesti - the Bosmer walking tree capital.

Imperial has my vote as well.

I also would like a glimpse into Imperial lifestyle when they're not trying to screw up everyone's plans for self-serving goals.

Dunmer, who are freaky-deaky as heck and enjoy keeping slaves, show us their soft underbellies in quest lines and whatnot.

We do not have that. Nor do we have an Imperial Hero worth emulating on any level.

Give those of us who play stinkin' Imperials the joy of knowing that we aren't always self-serving, backstabbing, cunning arses.

Between Cyrodiil, Anvil, Imperial City, and more DLC areas spread across the game we’ve seen a lot of Imperials already.

Well it seems like the Imperials do seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to content.
Right now cannot play one unless you buy the race and many might not do it. I have the race of course and a Imperial of course.
Only areas they truly have is Gold Coast and Pvp Cyrodiil/Imperial City.
They tend to be enemies being agents of the Tharns or Molag Bal. >.<
Their furnishings seem to be not craftable and even have to have Imperial Edition to own any Imperial Houses. Also furnishings look like Breton style but darker. Couldn't give them their own unique models.
They have no New Life Festival quest.
Treated as Outcasts and Pariahs something that is in the lore associated with Orcs and not Imperials.

All the races should have been available from the start. The Imperials being a race of men would fit the Daggerfall Covenant Alliance. Of course orcs being a main part of of the covenant as well. But they should have been the all around alliance race because the lore has Orcs living in all Three Alliances as well as mostly being treated as Pariahs without a true province of their own to call their own.
Orcs live in the following lands so that is why it makes sense them being an all around race. Many Orcs live in High Rock and Wrothgar Mountains but there are many that live peacefully a lot of the time with the Bosmer in Valenwood, and there are Orcs living in Skyrim.

So all Races would equally be represented maybe Imperials supporting the Covenant because they are the Alliance of Men plus maybe allowing refugees to settle in as well as have the imperials help retake their own homeland. That would have been nice if they could have done that with them instead of just locking them out in a paywall and continuing to treat them like a group of evildoers that isn't what they are and continuing to treat them as if they are not an important race at all.

This would be how I might have done it and how they could have done. But its too late now but this is how the races should have looked when it came to racial make up of the three alliances.
