The unending battle of Fort Ash at the milegate for the final emperor keep to dethrone the EP emperor, NA server, Dawnbreaker, nearly 40 hours of straight constant death and mayhem. The tide turned when DC finally showed up at the battle instead of banging their heads on Chalman trying to prevent EP from backcapping from AD who held it. The greatest memory I have, when DC arrived like the cavalry and wiped out the EP line at the milegate. EP broke less than an hour later. Greatest PvP battle I have ever been a part of.

Trying to get into imperial city before it actually was added to the game

Chilling at lorebook/skyshard locations with nightblades and ganking noobs for cheap thrills (was a lot of fun before anyone was vet level)

Holding block and being completely indestructible in heavy armor vs 20+ people, and with the right gear, able to kill most of them before youd die, if you did at all.

Dragonleaping into keeps, flipping outposts and keeps without flagging them with siege

For a long time when I thought of ground oils I thought of @vortexman11. You were well known for oiling DC. And also for your unwavering belief that someday Heavy Armor would be viable in pvp. You had no idea...none of us did.

It was so funny how everyone either had a white imperial horse with slow speed or running everywhere in the first months of the game. So many questions also the legendary one "How I leave Cyrodiil???!"

Those early videos from Beta, Early Release, and the first couple weeks after launch are some of the greatest MMO memories I have of this game.

Literal armies crossing the battlefield before that bot control fix that created the initial lag that put a chokehold on Cyrodiil in general

The game never recovered after 1.1, but my god were those the days

Hey we still have seemingly unkillable sorcs, they just aren't NPC's anymore.

I think those are still in the game and bugged btw... all they did was make it so you can't buy them any more.

I remember not having a horse running around on my low level character because I went straight into pvp at level 10 😭 and like a month or two later I was crowned emp.

Also remember when people would try to siege a keep then suddenly die to cold fire that they couldn’t see.

Werewolf... I miss being able to run a PVP ww, and it actually meant something. The knockdown from the howl, actually doing DAMAGE as a ww, when Claws of Life actually healed, when you had the tools and sets to actually survive 1vX as a werewolf.

When there was weapon damage building up from taking damage in heavy armor, just paired heavy Shacklebreaker with Hulking Draugr and Bloodspawn - and you were by no means "unkillable", but you could make a difference as a ww, before it became a Cyrodiil RPG niche.

And wow, running like 5-10 werewolves in a group, or inside a 24 man group. My my, those were the days! Such good fun. Game is becoming less and less diverse all the time. I'm back for Midyear Mayhem, and I still enjoy it for "old memories sake", but it just isn't the same. Hardly anything that used to work does it anymore. I haven't/can't keep up with all changes, so I'm unable to be what I once was.
